and before you ask me what mods do i have i'll say the following, the game looks like that with or without any mods plus, i uninstalled it, installed it again with absolutely no mods and it still had that blueish tint

if anyone has been through this i would appreciate some feedback

I, too, am having this issue, although at a slightly brighter color. It comes and goes, although at this current time it's been steady for 15 minutes. I am running mods, quite a few in fact, and am willing to give a list if anybody thinks it might help. All I can say is, halp please. :c

Hmm, I sometimes get that effect very briefly when I activate a spell of some sort, such as turning invisible or becoming ethereal. Do you have a mod that works to that effect? Could it be those goggles?

Could be a problem with your graphics card. I had a similar issue with the Seasons of Skyrim ENB where I'd get a blue/green tint. Turned out that something in the latest patches for my Nvidia graphics card was causing a conflict which resulted in the tint. However, if you don't use an ENB then this issue could be related to your ini files. I've heard that if you reset your game through the console command that a new ini file can be created which messes up your game's color - this ini file doens't replace your previous files nor show up in your documents file, it instead sits in your data folder of Skyrim with an obscure name under the ini file type. If you find a configuration file in your data folder that you don't recognize - such as "Water" for me - delete it and see if that resolves your issue.

I hope this helps.

Edit: Also, that tint looks remarkably similar to being Ethereal. Perhaps it glitched after you made the shout?

Well, the blue was becoming a headache, so my boyfriend and I started trying different things. I play on PC, so I cheated myself the ethereal shout and unlocked it, and sure enough when I used it after it ended I had color again. Beautiful, vibrant color. I'm so happy I could cry. So if you don't find anything else out, try that. :)

I have the same issue. The bluish tint comes and goes in some areas but is persistent in others. I have noticed that it is somehow connected to "ghosts" (like the headless horseman or hte ghost of Valdar in Valthume ruin) appearing. If I change cells the effect usually disappears and everything is normal again. It also happend in Sky Haven Temple with the mod "Recruit more blades" installed. As the ghosts there are pretty stationary (ghost of the Blades quartermaster) so is the bluish tint - which completely ruined the atmosphere of the mod. My best guess is that it is somehow related to a mod as the effect is not inherent to Vanilla Skyrim, I just don't know which one. So unless the effect doesn't go away at all, don't blame your graphics card.
