rellimyor Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Whenever I perform a kill move on a humanoid NPC they fall over as soon as my character touches them, making it so the animation doesn't play out properly. For example I'll do the 3 slashes attack with a 1h sword but they will fall over dead after the first slash, leaving me swinging at the air. I have only had this issue on this specific character, as they work fine on all my other ones. I've tried removing all sorts of mods and using save cleaner, boss,tesediit but nothing seems to work. If anyone has some insight as to how I could fix this bug I would greatly appreciate it. It's ruining this character for me and I've put in a lot of work. Jaradin Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 If you have any killmove mods, I recommend reinstalling them and checking if that helps resolve the issue. If that doesn't, try verifying your game cache to see if a repair can be made. And if THAT doesn't work, you might have to reinstall Skyrim, as it's likely one of your killmove codes is broken somehow. But perhaps there's another fix out there, so keep looking. DeltaAgent26 Posted March 23, 2013 Share Posted March 23, 2013 wanna switch problems? lol i can't get my kill moves to stop working. :) you said that you used tes5edit.... did you clean in this order: 1.) loading Skyrim + Update, but only highlighting update?2.) loading Skyrim + Update + Dawnguard, only highlighting Dawnquard?3.) loading Skyrim + Update + Hearthfires, only highlighting Hearthfires?4.) loading skyrim + Update + Dragonborn, only highlighting Dragonborn? the game was just recently patched to the live version of 1.9 so you may need to re-clean.if you have b.o.s.s. installed rerun and check for messages and clean if needed.you WILL need to clean again if you verify game cache.
