I have DD, MD, Dovahkriid and DCO installed, the only things that affect Dragons. The rest of my loadout is mostly cosmetic mods.

Dovahkriid-
-The Dragon Lords are not affected by DCO at all in my experience, although they show up and play out just fine except that they have no landing/flying/walking sound effects. It won't break your game, but true compatibility isn't happening right now even with a bashed patch.
-DCO seems to break Dovahkriid's script that prevents them from spawning until after the quest where you witness Alduin raise one of his officers from the dead. I narrowed this with multiple new characters narrowing it down to being caused by DCO. The break occurs in a way that causes the Dragon Lords to spawn right from the get go.
Jills of Akatosh-
-The same first issue seems to occur with the Jills as with Dovahkriid.
Mighty Dragons:
- Narrowing it down to just DCO and MD, the MD introduced Dragons are hit or miss, as I stated with my first post. Still fightable as with Dovahkriid, but full compatibility, like Dovahkriid and Jills of Akatosh, will likely require a hand made compatibility patch for each of them (just my opinion there, I could be wrong).
Deadly Dragons-
- Full compatibility (so far) for me no matter the settings.
So that is my report so far, other than that, V6 Beta is runnin great for me with one exception although I don't know how this could be fixed and it is for the most part cosmetic. The dragons now will clip through things a LOT more, this has led to me having characters taking in impromptu trip on dragon back and then promptly being dropped from high altitude. Neat, but visually jarring.

for me, I still don't know why, but v6 DCO is not compatible the older versions are but not the new one with my mods, i have deadly dragons on and that is the only other dragon mod i have, I don't think that its it though, I am currently running v5 DCO and im able to play the game, but when i try to download the new version 6, my NMM starts to crash and my game will not load.

sorry, I solved my own question, i just read the installation guide, and you guys mentiond that I need to run DCO BEFORE Dance of Death that fixed my problem, sorry for the interruption.

Skyrim 1.9, DG, E-MD + DD v 6.3.5, DCO v6
if E-MD or DD, DCO works flawlessly, 0 problem
if E-MD and DD, DCO choose DD as the "master" and E-MD get back to vanilla
Thks for the mod, enjoy it in every Dragon's fight
