:oops: hi. im new here. basically, i am on this mages guild mision for edwinna elbert or whatever in the ald r'hun mages guild to find a book called Chivararandamirr or something of the sort from Sirilowne in the Vivec mages guild and found that i had already taken the book and sold it. is there some way to check a "sales record" of sorts?

(btw, i have morrowind on xbox)

any help would be appreciated

Um... not very easily, no. If you were on PC you would be able to use the console to do something but since you're on XBox unfortunately, seems like you're screwed. Unless of course you can remember who you sold it to...

Sorry I can't be of more help. I think there's more than one place you can get Chimarvidium but I'm not sure on the locations.

You get it during the main quest. Once you get it you can give it to her. Than return that copy to the chest later.

It's found in the Vivec Mages Guild, in Sirlonwe's personal quarters in a locked chest.

I believe you're thinking of Sithis, which is given to you by one of the Failed Incarnate ghosts. Chimarvamidium is a story-book about the Dwemer and Chimer written by Marobar Sul.

A copy of the book can be found in ToddTest, but, since you are on XBox, you have no hope of getting to that one. Another copy can be found in Random_book_skill assortments, which are found in the Random_loot_special assortments, which are in quite a few barrels, boxes, crates, and sacks. Just keep a vigilant eye.

Ok, I thought that was that book, but I've had to get so many books from random Ald-Ruhn manors for Aenor the Jewler, I couldnt remember... *smacks head repeaditly*

i think there might be a way to do it if i look in my save file (i have a |\/|odded [ "|\/|" is used in place of "M" so m$ dont come after me] so i'll try that but thanks again

Just in case you're gunna look for it again, minor correction, it's in Sirilonwe's quarters in the Vivec Mages Guild, not Ald-Ruhn.

any self respecting Morrowind player would have about 100 back saves, given the numerous glitches in the game. just check one of those back until you have the book then retrace your steps and see who you sold it to.

if you dont have a bunch of backsaves then WHY THE HELL NOT? dont you understand that the slightest glitch and your file will turn into a morrowind symbol unreadable by the xbox?

anyway thats what i do in case i screw up something...
