Nothing here yet...I'm expecting the "big name gamers" with Youtube channels are probably in the first wave, so I'll keep my eyes on them to see what they say!

Now they are sending invitations for the ones who already registered themselves. Anyway, below is the link:

But probably they will prefer to send the invitations for the earlier registrations I think.

That's right, GOOD games make buttloads of cash. Microtransactions != Good game. It's just about the worst business model I can come up with, and I can't for the life of me understand why it would be popular. You can quote me GW or TF2 stats all you want, It's not fun and it's not conducive to the consumer goodwill that an MMO needs to thrive in the long run.

Not really interested. While I like the idea of TES multiplayer, I prefer the idea of selective multiplayer with friends, rather than thousands of people I don't know.
The other thing I don't like about MMOs, is the inability to mod the game to how I like it. All the games I have permanently installed are modded in some way. Where as the multiplayer games come and go.

I don't see what's so wrong with micro-transactions. Don't want XP boost? Don't buy it! It won't affect you AT ALL. B2P with micro-transactions is the way to go. The game will fail if it goes P2P.

GW2 isn't P2P it's B2P meaning you buy the game and have free access to the game with a Micro transaction cash shop in game. P2P are games like WOW and Warhammer that make you pay a monthly subscription fee.

I've heard from one friend that got invited. He has connections to Zenimax's marketing department and had done some artwork for them in the past. He was told that "connected" folks will probably be invited first. They really want testers and folks that are favorable to Zenimax.

I'm connected and I didn't get anything. In fact, I know some others that are well connected, and they didn't get an invite.
