Talos Armor - where and when

beautiful armor, as always, hothtrooper. Such an important armor would be high sought after by heroes of past and scholars, so I'd think you should place it in the last place someone would look. Perhaps in a seemingly meaningless dungeon hidden away from those who would be unworthy of wearing such an armor? I'll certainly keep an eye out for locations which would fall in that category while I roam Skyrim.

As for a quest, you said killing him would be lore breaking, so how about dueling his spirit for it? He is a god after all, shouldn't he be interested in testing the dragonborn and granting him/her a boon in their quest to save the world?

Anyways, that's my 2 cents on the matter.

What about High Hrothgar? I know he's been there before. Sorry, I'm not the best with ideas.

I would go with placement of it in either Skyhaven Temples interior cell near the blades armor location, or in the Skyhaven exterior on a pedestal

I'd say put it at one of the statues randomly placed through out Skyrim, I know there's one a little outside of Windhelm but that one's too close to a safe place. I think there is one somewhere between Whiterun and Windhelm that has Ice Wraiths or Wisps that spawn when you step close to the statue of Talos, that would be a cool place.

You could place each piece of the armor on a different statues of Talos. So the player will have to travel to all over Skyrim to collect it

Give it as a quest reward after completing the ghost of old hroldan, he thinks that you are Talos after all.

if its possible, add a Talos NPC to the Hall in Sovngarde and a part ofthe set to the exterrior
