Hello!
I almost just started out using you mod, i it seems like i found a bug of some kind.
Everytime i die, og just quit the game, my quest progress resets. I am doing the initial three quest, and so far i have started over. I mean i have to go all the way back to whiterun and pick up the book, and then kill the wolf and craps again.
Hope you can help in some way

hi, think i've spotted a tiny bug out there. when you go hunting/skinning/tanning, after a while there is some amount of pelts that are not displayed in player's inventory but still add weight. as i get it, this happens only in certain circumstances (i mean, making pelts at the table or portable kit) - however i didn't figure that out so long. just keep in mind something might have gone wrong.
or may be this happens only to me :)
perks version, no skse, also nothing to interfere your mod

How do you know you have pelts that aren't displayed?

i've put all inventory into a chest (except the log book) and got approx. 15 of weight. then just prid 14 // inv - and there were like 7 elk pelts, 3 deer pelts and 5 wolf pelts or so. got to remove them with a console, done this twice already

See if you can reproduce it, also does it show the editor ID for those items or just the name? i.e. Did the editor names start with "aaa"?

I think I know what might be happening. When you craft a pelt you're making a dummy version of it that doesn't show in the inventory. This gets removed by a little quest that starts when you craft each pelt to track your stats. If you craft to fast, basically mash the button, you're not giving the quest enough time to start and in turn remove that dummy pelt.

i've just done some testing, and it turned out that the skinning table adds more hidden weight than a portable kit - 42 at the table and 4 at the portable for the same amount of carcasses.

these items start with 16 (in my case) as well as all the normal mod's items

yeah, i'm crafting really fast, so you may be right.. just give me a minute to try that again

upd: yep, that was just because i crafted too fast. ok then, consider issue solved :) though its a pity that i can't do everything as fast as usual
