I cannot for the life of me get this working. I've got the book of silence weapons and armor and uniques, the Ebony Mail (gold), and this mod (for the weapons) and the hotfix patch applied. Eorlund had the shield one time, but its just a grey version of the regular steel shield and no weapons. I'm using the NMM to apply all of these mods. I'm running SKSE and everything is up to date.

move the plugin near the end of load order...you have probably another mod changing something related to skyforge or companion equipment

160+ total pictures and 10-12 with that mesh is not misleading... to look at images(provided by contributors and not by me) and flip into download section without reading description... well is instead misleading.
i'm not rude ...you did not see description...i recommended glasses...there's nothing personal.... is a matter of facts.

I appreciate the timely help, but no, the only mods I have are your textures that I listed, SKSE (shouldn't apply), and Random Alternate Start. Your textures and the ESP files are at the bottom.

One does not need to be an expert at modding or an adept of the Nexus sites to read a couple of sentences; we've all been there at one point. You accusing a mod author of something he has not done and then calling him out, however, isn't tolerated around here, even if you're a beginner. Might want to read the Terms of Service, Dannikka.

I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. I know that's what my comment may have looked like, and if that's what you thought, then I'm sorry. I'm new to modding (so no, I don't know what "texture replacement" is) and was really expecting that armor to be what I got. I was frustrated, and I didn't read the fine print because that's usually not important when it comes to mods. My mistake. But the skimpy CBBE armor is in almost all of the pictures, AND in youtube videos about this mod. I was really looking forward to the skimpy CBBE armor because it looks attractive, but not overly slutty like some male gamers like their female characters to wear. (no offense, but the wolf armor is kinda ugly no matter the colors.)

But there's no need for you to be rude. I was simply warning any new Nexus users (like me) that maybe don't know what a "texture replacement" is, that they aren't going to get what's in the picture. But, just curious, why use a completely different mod in your picture? It is misleading.

 

Let me shed some light on this.  A piece of armor has both a mesh (think of it as the shape of the armor) and a texture (the material of the armor...the decorations if you will)  Some textures can be used on different armor shapes and some can not.  The images uploaded by other members do not necessarily reflect anything.  This author has made a retexture of the armor (the description page tells this) and it does nothing to change the shape.  Those are different mods.

You can not come and accuse a mod author of "false advertizing" when you do not have the knowledge of mods to know this.  It is untrue and made him, rightly upset.

 

If you are unsure then politely ASK a question and many members here would be happy to send you in the correct direction .  I would suggest that you do ask for some directions to basic tutorials about modding since you obviously need them (go start a thread on the forums-not here..here is for mod specific questions).  I would also go read the Terms of Service of the site so your account doesn't get in trouble as you also have made some "opinion remarks" that do not belong here.

 

Remember you get more flies with honey than vinegar.  Be nice and don't make accusations (true or not true) especially when you are still uneducated as to how mods work.  I am cutting you a break here and not issuing any warnings.  You post like this again I will not be so magnanimous. ~Lisnpuppy

out of curiosity what should i do if some textures and meshes aren't showing up? like just the sword and greatsword and a few others like everything else works perfectly and beautifully, i'm thinking it is a recently installed mod but i'm not sure, can i get some help please?

The transparency of the wolf shield is somewhat see-through when in first person mode. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have the hotfix downloaded, I'm not sure what it did though.
