Alright, I'm done trying to find a solution to this. Sure, I use many mods. But I've done my best to organize them and avoid any conflict. I re-installed the game, adding mods one by one and checking if I can load a game. It works for a while, but then rather soon it goes back to this issue. Whenever I load a savegame made in exterior cell, the game would just load infefinitely. I did try alttabbing and switching to task manager (a suggested solution), but with no use. If there's a good soul around seeking to help the helpless and broken, I'd appreciate any assistance.

I had the same problem with a new install, every time I went into an exterior cell it either CTD, or load till I finally closed the game. I think what did it for me was the ENB was not installed correctly, or my pc couldn't handle it    for some reason.

Removing ENB or using a different preset seems to have no effect. I run the game with GTX 690, which can handle ENB and all the graphical mods pretty well.

If you haven't already try process of elimination with any new mods that you have installed with the resent install of the game. If you made a back up of your data files try replacing the Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. (That seemed to somewhat help a problem I have) Another thing see if anything is different with your ini files. Bout the only things I could think of, o do you have Z-fighting (where mountains flicker at distances).



O something I read a couple days ago some programs like Advanced System Care can mess with ENB's (have no clue why).

I tried elimitating mods, but with no use. At some point, disabling Footprints mod let me load the game, but after a while it started happening again.

Solved by reverting uGridstoLoad from 7 back to original 5 ...

Or not ... Just started happening again for no apparent reason. No mods were added, no settings were changed (

Try this: load any save game except those that give you an 'indefinite loading screen.' After you successfully load a save game, load the save game you normally cannot. Report back and let us know what happens.

Yeah, that worked. I think I can live with this. Still would be good to get rid of the issue once and for all.

 

Seems to only be happening in Whiterun atm. Although, I haven't gotten any further in current playthrough yet. I wonder what can cause this. I disabled 'See your neighbour's houses' mod. Currently Whiterun is only altered by Whiterun trees. Weird.

To me it seems that re-installing the game somehow messes things up. I been getting CTD's after a clean install and I used the mod that is causing it a long time before the re-install.
