I had a this crashing problem for fallout 3 but new vegas always worked just fine. my operating system windows 7. I don't think this problem happens for new vegas on windows 7 but I could be wrong.

What version of the game do you have? because I don't even have d3d9.dll and I have the steam version and I've never had that problem.

I've never had this problem with New Vegas only with Fallout three. Just a question, why did you take pictures of your screen when you could have just alt + printscreened it?

In response to post #7764513.

1. The d3d9.dll comes with the file made
2. Some people may have got the game with the product code on the recipt and may crash for no reason at the beginning.

One thing FO2 and FNV is that it is picky about is network mapped drives. I couldn't get it to run over a network from a mapped drive, so if you plan on running it that way, save yourself the trouble.

Thanks for the resource, could have used it a couple of weeks ago.
