Why make that build disabling 1-4 private? I'd enjoy it more, and I'm sure there are tons of other people. Please consider putting it up as an optional download!

I'd actually like this option as well. Since you change what is in your hands a lot more often than you change your armors, it makes more sense to keep the hand swapping (without unequipping, changing armor) near the left hand, so that you do not have to remove either hand (the left from the movement keys, or the right from the mouse) to simply change to a healing spell, or ward spell, etc. It makes much more sense that the greater inconvenience (moving the playing hand) be coupled with the less frequent action (changing armors, rather than hand equips). It can't be that hard to replace the "listen for 1-0 keys" with "listen for num1 - num0" in your code. Releasing this as an alternate download lets you avoid having to figure out any sort of configuration menu as well, and would most certainly help people who dismissed your mod consider it once again.

Has the issue with weapon enchantments being emptied when using loadout been addressed yet? If I uninstall loadout and use vanilla hotkeys, weapons keep whatever enchantment they already have. if I use loadout, weapons sometimes lose all of their charges when being switched to.
Needless to say it is a very serious problem for a mod designed to make menu access less frequent.

Take a look at SkyUI 4, I believe they might have something that you are looking for.

I've never heard of this problem before.

If I may be so bold as to request something, perhaps a way to "tag" an armor / clothing to always be equipped, no matter what Loadout I use? Unless there's already an existing function like that.
What I'm suggesting is:
If I'm wearing an armor / helmet / boots / gloves set I'd like to keep across all Loadouts, perhaps I could press "Ctrl" + "=" to permanently wear that, unless removed manually, or overwritten.
So if I want one Loadout slot to use a nightgown, and everything else to use my armor set, I wear my armor set, press Ctrl + = (weapons are not saved), which sets Loadout 1-0 to use said armor set. Then I go to Loadout 0, equip a nightgown, and then save.
The end result is that Loadouts 1-9 will use the armor set, and Loadout 0 will use the nightgown.
For your consideration.

My suggestion: instead of pressing the 0-9 keys, you need to activate a power first (like Loadout power with Z button) and then press the 0-9. That way, you could be using you regular hotkeys, and if you really want to switch armors/weapons/shouts just press Z and then a number. Some people might not like this system, but I am one of those who don't like to sacrifice default hotkeys in game. Thanks.

Hi, I have using Loadout very well. This is awesome mod to switch equipment quickly. I updated SKSE 1.70 today, and it said that Loadout does not support with 1.70. I am wondering if you have plan to update at some point. Thanks for a great mod.

I second this request.
SKSE 1.70 makes my game much more stable and Loadout makes it much more fun. But Loadout complains, that SKSE is the wrong version and stops working. Maybe the solution is so simple to remove the version checking?
Thanks for the mod!

This mod for me is now a must have. During battle I quickly switch spells and auto equip items to boost that spell.
What I'd like to request is... more hotkeys! If loadout had the feature to use the SHIFT key (control+shift+1 to save, shift+1 to equip) we would have double the slots.
EDIT: I was checking the source code on github and turns out this looks quite like javascript/java, also your code was easy to understand, so I wrote this small patch for file Data/scripts/Source/Loadout.psc to add this functionality as a feature suggestion: http://pastebin.com/cKntFHUL
EDIT2: edited the script to indicate on the screen that the alternate key was pressed (default to left shift, could be a configurable option). Was able to compile locally to test and it works fine. Hence my feature suggestion.
EDIT3: I've also uploaded the full modified Loadout.psc file here for reference: http://pastebin.com/mSZUunQX . Loadout provided me today a good hello world experience on skyrim modding
EDIT4: Also created a feature request on github since it's the preferred method according to this page.
