OK team, it has now been put into OUR hands to fix the thousand or so bugs in skyrim that remain from the dark days of dlc releases. It is out of bethesda's hands to fix all of the problems. We are the youth of skyrim! Now let's fix those bugs!

no matter how you sympathizers try to dress it up, bethesda is infamous for making promises they don't follow through with, several expansion sized dlc my ass!

The Dragonborn was not deemed a servant, but rather an "emissary", said Herma-Mora himself. As Dragonborn, you are still free to do what ever you want, and know that Herma-Mora's help was only for his own gain. Not for enslaving the Dragonborn, but defeating the first (a one-time thing). He already got his fair share, knowledge. Knowledge of the secrets of the Skaal. Those were the reasons he helped. As for Discerning the Transmundane, he merely wanted you to be his new emissary, since Septimus was, according to Hermaeus, growiing increasingly obsolete because of you helping him. He does refer to the Dragonborn as his servant, but you can always say, "I'm am not your servant, foul demon!", which I love saying. No one controls my character, but me! >

Well I'm definitely disappointed. None of the DLC's Skyrim has had reached the heights of Knights of the Nine or Shivering Isles. To learn that there won't be any more just compounds how incomplete Skyrim is compared to its predecessors.

"Labor of love???"
More like, "The one you got tired of and dumped."
Skyrim deserved closure. Not abandonment.

I agree with you entirely. My offline mode works, but every couple of weeks I have to connect so Steam Client can update itself, otherwise it "forgets" my login data. The worst part is how it actually says on the casing that you only need to connect once to activate the game, That is a bulls*** lie. When I go out and pay £25 on a game, I expect to be able to play that game whenever I want, without having to fuss over my awful internet connection, and wait for two days for updates to download.
Although Steam is a brilliant online gaming community, its download policy definitely needs reviewing, as it makes things difficult for the minority who have poor internet, or no internet.
Them not fixing this up because the majority doesn't require to comes across as laziness to me.
Even telling steam "do not automatically update" has no effect.

Good post. As usual, Bethesda is ready to move on to their next cash cow, so they'll leave it up to modders to finish what they started.
@ andrewthedraugr - Amen! Beth and Steam don't care whether their features are inconvenient to some paying customers. All they care about is trying to prevent software piracy.
