Since I haven't played with your mod yet and you haven't played mine, I think it's a bit early to comment on any of this really. But I mean, from an objective perspective, if you are overriding something that I've done, the very act of overriding it changes the experience from what was originally intended. Regardless of what you or I think.
She will not be rebellious to the point of uselessness, but there is an intended curve or arc about how these things get unlocked.
It will be compatible with the above multi-follower mods insomuch that it will not conflict with them. She will probably not be part of their command framework. That might change some day.

We may offer additional options at installation in the future, but we are feeling pretty good about the above as her default look.

It would be really cool if you made her not stare at the player's character like all other followers do, not only is it unrealistic, it's super creepy.

I would like to see her operate similar to Serana, where she sandboxes in a confined area when the player stands around; though I would like to put some additional restrictions on it depending on the context. No, Serana, during Roggvir's execution is not the best time to use the sharpening wheel on the execution stage.

Great concept! After this is completed, you should make more for other playstyles (Knight, Necromancer, Paladin, etc.).

Is it possible to make an NPC's head look in random directions?
Say like, you are walking through the countryside, and you check back at Arissa who is staring off in the distance at something more interesting than the road infront of her/staring at you. That would be very cool.

If you can do all of this, you may even get a better follower then vilja... But in that case you need to do a lot of stuff... But when do you release it?

Good question. We're having a discussion about what we want to call 'Arissa 1.0" right now, and what the scope of that needs to look like.
From the looks of it, 1.0 will include:
* All of her general follower behavior
* All of her main quest line
* All of her interactivity with the Skyrim main quest and the Civil War
More story and participation would probably be released after that.
