Holy sh..
That was a great idea!
I already liked rc weathers but with these changes it's just awesome.
Now the weather has a huge impact on brightness. I especially like how dark it gets in a rain storm during daytime.
You realy get the feeling of a severe thunderstorm. It reminds me of those rainy days when you look outside and think it's getting dark but then you realize it's just 3 pm.
I also like the darker nights. They even effect gameplay. You might think twice of going into the woods at night during a rain storm. I realy like that.
Also the nights are darker but somehow you can still make out objects. It's not just black.
The contrast also seems higher. In fact you might consider reducing the contrast value slightly.
Now there are two things that don't look as good:
1. The clear aurora night. While I realy like that the colour of the auroras tint the scenery I think in this case it's kind of overkill. The grass almost looks orange. I also think it's too bright. It would never bee that bright at night. Also the normal clear night is slightly too bright in my opinion.
2. Fog. During daytime the fog seems less dense. Meaning you can sea clearer. During nighttime its too dark also for my taste. Also during nighttime it somehow looks weird. I don't realy know how to describe it but there are patches of the same brightness surrounded by patches with significantly different brightness. Sort of like the image is made out of only like 10 different brightness levels. I don't think it's a bug. I think it's caused by the fog in a very dark environment.
Great work! I really hope you put a tweaked version of this in the next official release.

...and instantly, there was nothing. I apologize for that.
I live on College Residence, and I was taken back home for my dad's birthday weekend. While I am sorry for falling back on what I said, I enjoyed myself. And ENB updated and changed again while I was gone, so I'm kinda glad I didn't update just yet.

I'll see about the aurora brightness, and can I get a screenshot of the second thing? Having a difficult time picturing what you're explaining.

Ok I made some screenshotsFirst fog during daytime:
Unedited rc3 fog (10a23e)
New lighting method (c821e)
If you compare the two pictures you can see, that the edited c821e fog seems less dense. You can see the tower on the left, the ruin in the back and the trees in the left quite a bit clearer. Especially the ruin in the back can barely be seen in rc3 fog (10a23e) but is definitely visible with the new lighting (c821e).
Now fog during nighttime:
1 2
It is very dark, even for my taste, so its difficult to see. There are relatively bright areas surrounded by almost black areas with virtually no gradation in between.
I think this is simply how fog looks in a very dark environment in skyrim. In my opinion the best solution would be to bring back some sky brightness ore ambient lighting for foggy weather. Fog makes light softer anyway.

Dont' worry. 207 is working fine for me. Dont think upgrading to 221 (or 22x) will be a game changer.
So there is no hurry. Only problem maybe for other people dropping the new ENB into the old preset. Might have issues.

Hey is there any sort of progress listings anywhere or what's currently being worked on for the next release? Really looking forward to the Hearthfire DLC lighting getting upgraded.

Well, Daemon is currently at school so weathers might be a bit delayed. As for Heathfire DLC, the creators of RLO have already stated that it is too buggy to try to edit the lighting in Hearthfire homes, so they will not be changing it.

I've noticed something with the weathers that is odd and just want to know if it's addressed by this mod?
During sunrise/sunset the entire horizon is lit up. All the way around 360 degrees. It is especially noticeable on northern coast where you see west north and east. The only way to tell dusk from dawn is where the sun is.
Again, I'm not sure it is RLO's weathers that would cause this but I only have RLO lighting mod.
