That's just how the game engine works, sadly. There are only 3 layers for the sky itself: Upper, Lower, and Horizon. I'm not entirely sure about how I could get the sunrise and sunset position to glow yet. I might be able to get it with cloud layer trickery, but not sure.

It's been a while since I was following the development of this mod and noticed that the new weather module was recently included with the main file. Does the included version use the varied weathers that were planned for the module or have those not yet been implemented?

About a year ago I switched to ELFX for my own reasons (it plays nicer with my other mods, and also I liked the dungeon lighting better) but have consistently been recommending RLO to friends because of how simple and wonderful it looks (ELFX is a bit extreme for most people). Today I decided to spin up RLO again and see what had changed and noticed some glaring issues that I don't recall having before. When holding a torch and walking around in certain areas, if the camera angle isn't the way RLO wants it to be (or I'm in first person), the walls will go from completely unlit to bright as day within a single step. This has happened in a few places, but most notably the thieves guild in Riften. If you step from the water platform over to the steps, that back slanted wall will light up instantly. It's quite jarring. I was wondering if I possibly did something wrong, or if this is a known issue with the mod.

I don't know if this is intentional or not but a Shrine of Mara seems to be added to the Wind District in Whiterun outside the Hall of the Dead by Realistic Lighting Overhaul. I was unable to find any reference to this in the description of the mod or the readme file. I'm in the process of looking though the forums to see if I can find any other references to this. I downloaded this mod under the understanding that this would only modify existing vanilla light sources and not modify anything else. Thanks in advance for any information that can be provided.

It's 40% an issue with the mod, and 60% an issue with the game engine. There's too many lights on one object (Being the entire ceiling). It causes the lighting to bug out...

You are correct. It was an aesthetic decision on Sydney's part and is a part of "Lore Lighting". However... I may just end up removing it with all the complaints about it coming in.

Great Work, but please fix the hovering lamp at solitude. it just feels very annoying.

Hi i have this issue with this mod, when i am at "Bleak Falls Barrow" the winter blizard make appear some black( i don't know how to call it)

i have try 3 different installation
1. place the RLO juste on under of Unofficial Patch
2. place with Boss and respect his load order
3. i have uninstall all my mod and just keep RLO

I realy like this mod,, the night is so realistic, the lightning is very good,, but i have this litle issue with,, why ?
