In response to post #7964209. #7967944, #7971370, #7978363, #7993547, #8010361 are all replies on the same post.

The main question was about tints because there was a dispute of sorts over opinions on whether the tint should be blue, or red, not because for the flames, but the moons. The moons are red, but at the same time, there's a neat little effect that happens irl called the "Purkinje Effect". It makes everything we see in darker light levels appear more blue / greyscale ( http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/484091/Purkinje-effect ) Blue was the most popular tint choice, so for now, that's the one I went with.

Sounds good man, good luck with this, and it is good to see the door re-opened on RLO weathers!

In response to post #8023518.

Check the articles. It's still a weather, so Load Order and You still applies.

Tried weathers. They look really good. However, I still find that at noon, on a clear day, the light is not as bright as it should be. I mean: I look at the sky and there are no clouds. Then I look at the ground and it seems that I am under a cloudy sky. It happens in CoT and in vanilla too. I guess it ´s really impossible to get real light feeling.
On the other hand, the nights are not as dark as I would enjoy. I am not interested at all in ridiculous pitch black nights, but imho yours should be slightliy darker. Just my opinion, though.
As always, thank you for you work. I´ll keep tracking and testing

In response to post #8032382.

Thanks for the feedback. And, no it's not an engine thing, I can always bump up the daytime sunlight for clear weathers. Just a few things so I can check it out myself for testing: Where were you adventuring, and was it a clear day (minimal clouds), or a partly-cloudy day (Noticeable clouds)?

I can turn down the night lighting as well. (Same as before, for testing and reference.) And another thing I'm wondering: Is it the direct lighting that's too bright, or the ambient lighting (Like shadows)?

Just wanted to say, I'm immensely looking forward to your new weathers. I thought that the lightning in the RLwC weathers was perfect. Clear days were very bright, nights were dark, and everything was very realistic. There just wasn't much variation in the weathers. For that reason I switched to CoT, just because of all of the new things it adds. I have to say though, I'm starting to really HATE the lighting in it. Mornings are as bright as the noons with RLwC used to be, and clear noons with CoT feel like dusk. The lighting in it is just always wrong, and it doesn't look right. It feels like my character is always wearing sunglasses around noontime, because it is really that much darker than it should be. But you guys with the Realistic Lighting team have never let me down, so I trust that this will be the best weather/lighting mod out there once it is complete. Best of luck.

In response to post #8039702.

The weathers are in an alpha download for the public to see what I've got done so far. There's also a small checklist in the articles tab to keep track of what is and isn't done yet.

I'm interested in compatibility with other mods that tweak a weathers a bit, like:
"Supreme and Volumetric Fog" - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24460
"Supreme Storms" - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27022
"Morning Fogs" - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24810

Still lookin' forward to the weathers, once they're all done. Good luck.

In response to post #8041859.

From what I can guess (I have not tried them out myself yet), They should be compatible when loaded AFTER RLO Weathers. Morning fogs should be the most compatible because it doesn't change any weather colours, or fog intensity.
