In my opinion at least one night is way too bright. Others seemed darker to me. And even if night is not always pitch black being able to clearly see a whole mountain behind a lake is too bright. (Regarding to STATUS it's the "12F89" Weather - SkyrimCloudy).

RLO Weather is loaded just before my bashedpatch and other nights are very dark. So if that is not caused by RLO I'm sorry for complaining :/ Just don't what else the problem might be.

It might be RLO, but I'm not sure.... I've been darkening a few nights already, but if other cloudy weathers (like SkyrimCloudyCO, or FF) are not as bright as the one, then it might be something else. This is what Alpha Tests are for though :)

That's why I mentioned it even though I'm not suire. I'll try to test cloudy weathers this evening and see under which circumstances this occurs.

please, do not do too dark night, or add darker night as option, because you can not see the world on the monitor, when you play in day

sorry for this long delayed answer. I mean the brightness reflected on objects: the ground, the road, everything. It looks muted. I donīt know if the rest of you experience it as I do. May be itīs just a personal perception. If you want to test it yourself, place your character under a sky with no clouds, at noon. Look at the sun and the sky and then look at the ground. Itīs not the eye adpatation. wait for some seconds in order to let its effect to pass. Then you might understand what I mean. My test happenned at the road going from helgen to riverwood, close to the last, at noon, under a clear blue sky

Yep, I had those turned down probably a little too low for a proper clear sky. Those have since been increased.

Lighting is really really good, but you know what would make your weather's look even more amazing? some cloud textures :] Keep it up, I see a lot future in these weathers.

Then it would not be vanilla weathers, now would it?:-) This is a lighting overhaul, not a textures overhaul. So I would vote against it...

I was thinking of adding cloud textures at some point. But I need to finish weathers first, then I might do that in an update.

@J.O.D.: Well, as long as I replace / over-write the default cloud textures, it will still be vanilla weather ;)

awesome! I think high quality cloud textures would be great if you decide to add them!
