As the title states, I've got some mod that placed frost traps, or some kind of script placeable invisible object that triggers a frost trap inside some Inns, most notable one is the sleeping giant inn. I've been unable to track down which mod is the culprit.

I suspect the same mod to be responsible for guards dropping their equipment, I just saw a guard in riverwood unequip his boots, drop then to the ground and fast as light take then from the ground and equip again. This is the cause for some guard equipment I've been finding lying around, which I previously placed blame on Wet and Cold, but it's proven now that's not the culprit as I started a new game without it and both issues still happen!

Not finding the culprit on a one on one basis and since nobody reported anything here, I will have to resort to mod isolation method. Will report here for future reference and inform the author when I do find the culprit.

At least from the Frost Trap at Sleeping Giant Inn I found the culprit: Wearing Faction Armor causes aggression. Still doing testing to see what can be achieved and if the other bugs about guards dropping equipment are from this mod also.
Probably this is why it's gone from nexus? Too back I didnt notice earlier, would have spared me a week of headaches with crashing.

False alarm, even with this mod disabled from the start of a new game, the frost trap was there in the Sleeping Giant Inn. I'm at a loss, dont have a clue which mod is the culprit. Truth be told I didnt deactivate all of my mods cause I thought I had found it.

For anyone reading this, I got progress, someone at Bethesda foruns reported that the guard dropping their stuff is caused by Upgraded Weapons and Armor for Enemies. I have it in my game so probably that part is fixed. Now it remains the frost trap problem. Hoping it's the same mod!

I found it, believe it or no, its Cults of Skyrim, which adds the frost traps in inns. Later I will ask the author to clean stuff!
