coca12345 - Hello!

I don't use a major overhaul myself, though the two biggest & most popular are FOOK2 & FWE:

FOOK2

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4448/?

FWE - FO3 Wanderers Edition

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/2761/?

They make major changes to Fallout 3 & you'd have to compare them to each other to see if which is more to your tastes.

They are large & quite complex & take time to set up properly.

There are many other overhauls, many are smaller with changes on a subtler scale then the above.

Arwen's Realism Tweaks is another popular & more compact overhaul:

An extensive list of overhaul & game tweak mods can be browsed through here:

Personally, I like Fallout 3's gameplay pretty much "as is" as far as mechanics go.

I don't use one single large mod as an overhaul, instead I use several mods to "fix" the parts I feel need attention while preserving the vanilla feel.

I do think vanilla skimped on a few things like creature variety which can be fixed by the fantastic Marts Mutant Mod:

Fallout 3 has far too many boarded up buildings, so a great addition to expand exploring by adding tons of high class, lore friendly interiors is DCInteriors Project:

& I use a weapons mod to expand the variety available to further enhance gameply.

Sadly the best of those is no longer on the Nexus but there are other excellent ones out there.

Classic Fallout Weapons BETA by War1982 is an oldie but a goodie:

There's plenty of others of course.

Hope this helps!

I don't know if you're a fellow fan of Doctor Who or not, but if you are, I'd have to suggest Fallout Who: The Last Child of Gallifrey, and Fallout Who: Ghosts in the Machine. Both are great mods, and the only issue I've ever had with FOW TLCoG was the TARDIS Library, in which there are far too many Pre-War Book items, and it lags like ****.

They really expand the storyline, and they're great mods for anyone who likes FO3 and Dr Who.
