Looks very nice, definitely an improvement!
I wish to see a light theme though, the dark background + white text can be hard on the eyes sometimes. Nevertheless, it"s a very good job.

I am seriously liking the new mock up for the UI changes.

My only suggestion (haven't read all comments, so if it has been suggested already, consider this a vote for it), is the ability to skin the UI.

Sorry folks, too dark, current NMM is easy to read.

Why not get the current one functioning 100% first. For me one of the things that annoys me is it takes anything up to two minutes to open, never less than one, in on line or off line.

Having said that, you are doing great work, but maybe getting side tracked some times.

I can appreciate where you're trying to head, and a lot of it looks really good, but those slanted Mod etc. tabs make me want to kill a kitten. Please change those. But other than that qualm, I like it!

I really like it for the most part, but there are a few things I'd throw in. Just my opinion.

1) I think the asymmetrical tabs and splash screen need to go, and be replaced by symmetrical round-edged tabs.

2) If you could add support for at least recoloring. The black and green isn't bad, but the ability to change it would be great.

3) I do have to say that I think optimizing loading and whatnot should take precedence, as the programs unwillingness to load properly can be annoying and looking at a prettier loading screen won't make me feel much better

That said, it's your software, but I know you care about feedback and that's my opinion on the matter.
