In response to post #11609396.

You will need to update the chargenmorphcfg.xml in the override folder
Make a backup first
Open in Notepad and find the Skins enteries should look something like this

<skins>
<resource name="uh_hed_fema_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_elfa_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_kida_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_masa_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_dwfa_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_quna_0d" />

go to the end entry and before the

</skins>
</morph_config>

add

<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar1_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar2_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar3_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar4_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar5_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar6_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar7_0d" />
<resource name="uh_hed_sjc_femscar8_0d" />

The scars should now appear in the Charcter creator as the 8 last enteries

Seriously, I can't thank you enough for these! Trying to rough up a female character apparently is a lot tougher then I realized when there's such a huge lacking of scar type mods for them, so this really is a little diamond in the rough for me! C: I agree with the other users too- the witch tattoo for a mage warden would just be an excellent way to add depth in looks alone, and having it on the forehead makes me think of the 'branding' the circle does to it's tranquil... it's very interesting and unique, I like it's placement there.

I have a question. Whenever I install the "More Hairstyles" mod, the scars disappear from the character creation menu (although they'll still show on preexisting characters). I'm not even sure why hairstyles are affecting skin complexions. Does anyone have a fix for this? Other than using the toolset, because I'm not able to use it.

EDIT: Never mind, figured it out. "More Hairstyles" has a separate chargenmorphcfg.xml file that you also have to add the scar skin entries to under <skins>. :D
