Hi, I have a little problem with Keening. I went to Odrosal and killed the ash vampire, but Keening was nowhere to be found. I even looked in the tower area but it was not there. So, I used the “additem” code and got it. But, whenever I reload a game it disappears and I get a "Failed to load spell “Keeneing-en”." error message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Keening is supposed to be in the middle of the ash circle in the tower. It is vertical so you could miss it I suppose. I have never had a game where it was missing. Have you a save game prior to your adding keening via the console?

Also, when you get the warning does it let you play on without keening? It may be possible to add it only when you need it, in the heart chamber. It doesn't much matter if it doesn't exist after that.

Yes, I checked the tower after I killed the ash vampire.

Also, the warning gives me a option to keep playing or end the script.

I was thinking maybe it was a plugin conflict or something.

Yeah but does it let you keep playing? If so, do what I suggest, add keening via the console when you get to the heart chamber. You are almost at that point in the main quest so it's worth trying it out!

If it is a plug-in conflict you need to post the plug-ins you are running. I know some that do not conflict but I don't play many. Others may have more info.

Have you done all the main missions up to that one? If not that is your problem.
