UPDATE: Strangely, I can hear my footsteps when I take off any footwear. Will look into it, but any suggestions are appreciated.

Footstep sounds are completely missing for me since the new update on Steam. I reverted my .exe back to the old one, but I still have no footstep sounds. Disabling every single mod does nothing. FNIS generation does nothing. I have not had this problem with any of my animation mods before. I have tried updating USSEP but this does not fix the problem. Playing without SKSE does nothing. Also, the main menu seems a little borked up, with every option being invisible except for "change profile", which doesn't even work. Clicking on one of the invisible options "new game, load game" causes all the options to re-appear. The footstep problem is certainly the most annoying, though. I am getting a CTD shortly after leaving the Helgen dungeon and running down the path a bit. I have the real-time event error log addon and it's working properly but it doesn't show me any reason for a crash. Upon recently installing Dual Sheath plus Shield on Back as well as Armed to the Teeth, I have, to my satisfaction, seen that these mods work just fine. Except for one problem. When in the 3rd person perspective, there is absolutely no weapon drawing/sheathing sound effect. The only sound that plays is the sound you get when you drop or equip an item from the inventory. Someone should really fix the massive spelling error in the title, if spelling and grammar is so important in tutorials.

Okay, I have a mod request that is very simple but very important to me. I was wondering if someone could make a Blackjack weapon like from the Thief series. Sneak attacks would cause the NPC to go unconcious, ragdoll or whatever, causing them to not be able to see you for the entirety of the KO.
