  1. Good day to you all, I have another question once again maybe someone can help me out  I am trying to add an onHit detection to a Npc and I tried alot of stuff already and it didnt work... I think I have to register them for an onHit event but I am not sure how to do that. What I am trying to do is if Npc gets hit by anything except npc with keyword Brawler (or in faction brawler or whatever) the player gets added a Perk. (cheater Perk). Shouldn't be that hard to do but I can't figure it out. How would you aproach this?
  2. its CombatZone01 in (block 8 - sub block 5) i dont realy care about the npcs they wont be missed if i have to remove them  and you might be right about that more then one cell thing but i dont know. if you could try it out as you said i would be very thankful Edit: I will probably use the NorthendBoxingGym worked like a charm on that cell. Has to be something with the combatzone
  3. This is harder then I thought it would be I want the g.e.c.k. ... I got everything up and running sofar i can coc into my new combatzone but inside glitchy stuff is happening. First of all there are no npc at all and the whole area ist divided by 3 " white walls " like the sky in the qasmoke area. I can walk through them using tcl but not without. Is there an easy way to fix this or did i miss something?
  4. oh man wish i read that a little earlier xD well you saved me the time on the bazillion more temp files atleast. Now i encountered another problem. Shift multi seclection works perfect but there are 3 nav meshes in there (in the temporary section) that I could only copy as override once again. Got a solution handy maybe? Thanks for your great help btw. edit: nvm i just did the change formid again
  5. Thanks alot I'll go try it right now but got my work cut out for me there are a bazillion objects in there :)
  6. good day to you all, I am trying to copy an interior cell CombatZone01 so I can mess around in it without messing everything up. When I open the cell tab in fo4edit (block 8 - sub block 5) and right click to try to "copy as new record" like you do with weapons and such, all i got is "copy as override" and "deep copy as override" I dont get it can someone help me out?
  7. In response to post #24586549. #24586889, #24586954, #24587054, #24587239, #24587269, #24587399, #24587674, #24587829, #24587869 are all replies on the same post. I'm quite certain things will balance out just fine and we will come out with an even greater comunity then now. At the moment people are shocked scaed and angry but that will all setlle down. So will the prices they will balance out naturally following the marked. If Valve and Bethesda are stupid enough to force people to pay for mods created by people enjoying their work and dont want people to be forced to anything they will cut in their own flesh the Modders won't tollerate such practices and I'm 100% certain about that. Edit: got to go to work now not modding :( ;)

Steam for showing the 5$ as price to pay and not the 1$ and after that the higher prices. And isoku for not explainging his methods to the comunity correctly. He should change his description text to something like "If you dont want to pay go get yourself the xxx version" with a link and done. And I think he promoted the 2.0 for weeks or even months and everyone thought he would realse it for free. Now getting knocked infront of your head with a fee makes people very understandably angry. And angry people in crowds tend to get very aggresiv. And thats whats happening to poor isoku at the moment Edit: doesnt excuse the behavior of some users but I think can explain it a little.

As I said I would do it like this: - I would upload every version till the final version for free (mean already good versions with minor bugs) - Then I would upload the final Version for 50cents - 1 Dollar - If you dont want to pay for the final version just get the "0.99" which is basicly the same just with a few very small bugs - If you like what I've done want to show endorsment and the final version go get if for a Dollar :D Everyone would benifit from a moddel like that because it would encourage me to polish a mod out to perfection knowing I can make money of it.
  10. In response to post #24586549. #24586889, #24586954, #24587054, #24587239 are all replies on the same post. thats exactly what I mean I would love to make this my fulltime job with good quality conctent equal to or better then actual dlc's. So all in all this could turn out awsome if you take your "job" on modding serious. What I think scares the most people off is the forced method it comes around with. I think most people wont mind to pay 50cents or a Dollar or whatever for realy good quality content extending their fun ingame for hours. But they will very much mind paying a Dollar for crap. But if you upload crap and want cash for it it will result in shitstorms which nobody realy likes I can imagine and arent good for sales either ;) so this will balance itself out.
  11. In response to post #24586549. #24586889 is also a reply to the same post. If your forecast should turn out true I can promise you this much "we" the Modders wont tollerate practices like that. I hope I can speak for everyone on this case :) I wouldnt Mod for a game if it forces you to pay for my stuff and works with methods working against free comunitys. This would mean the next FallOut or Tes will have basicly no mods :D or no mods worth buying and this again will conclue in the FallOut or Tes after that beeing free again. So dont worry ;) Edit: and would mean Skyrim will probabily become one of the most modded games ever :D cause we will all just wait for the next free version to come out and continue working on skyrim. Skyrim is a great skeleton and their are grafic mods out there making it to look better then any game avalible :D
  12. Seeing these many people so aggresiv makes me realy sad. In my oppinion this discussion is very Black&White but as we all know there at least 50 shades of gray :D I can promise you this much. Most Mod authers if not all of them enjoy modding and have done this sofar for the pure reason of that and maybe apriciation of their work. And will continue to do so. I for myself have spent houndrets of hours on some of my stuff. I do this because I see modding as the "game" I'm actually playing. Since I reinstalled Skyrim to start modding I have spent 600 hours in the creation kit and 120 in game itself. But nothing the less I can honestly understand that some Modders would love to get some cash for their stuff since some Mods take up more time of a Day then the actual job they have :D and sometimes after 10 hours it isnt that fun anymore ;) My wife for example got realy pissed while I was working on Black Jack cause I stayed up for 2 days basicly without sleeping to finish that s o a b. Seeing money for your Stuff could well possably mean that if you take your "job" on modding serious you can make cash of it. Which is awsome. I dont like my fulltime job and the greatest job ever would be creating Mods for you guys to enjoy ;) I of course understand the outrage by the comunity that dont want to pay an aditional 100 bucks to a Vanilla game just to get Mods to make it worth while playing. But I think making it possible to charge for your mods is a good possability. The 25 / 75 cut is quite rough but its better then nothing and as some people have pointed out more then the usal 10% To conclude my evil wall of letters. This whole thing could turn out to be something great not as many people say something awfull. Or it could very well be something in the middle :D I for myself wouldnt dare to charge for my stuff if I dont know it's done perfect and as good as an actual dlc would be. Also it wouldnt come to my mind bringing out the first few Version of anything charged, just imagine the shitstorm that will brake loose if you charge a Dollar and then something doesnt work as promoted. But I could befriend myself with the Idea uploading the final Version of a Mod for a Dollar or something (nothing more then 0,50 cents to a Dollar thats insane - except its realy realy big game changing stuff then MAYBE 2 Dollars but i still think everything above a dollar is to much) charging and not the donation button as I've read alot that people wont donate if they can get it for free I'm like that to so cant complain about it :D Maybe if the donations would be a realy simple system it would work better. To finally wrap it up. Dont worry guys and girls Bathesda and Valve dont have the power to bring down the modding comunity ;) I will continue modding if I dont ever see a cent for it and so will 90% of the rest of the modders if not more. The rest is people we dont need anyways ;)

  14. In response to post #24564764. #24564899, #24565059 are all replies on the same post. doubt it too ;) as I said paypal donation would be enough totaly. And thanks :D
  15. In response to post #24564764. btw getting money for your mods would mean the realy good modders with millions of downloads would be able to "live" of it for some parts which would mean they would have more time for the actual modding and even awsomer mods would come out.
