I'm playing on PC and when I am in the main menu I click "mods" and nothing happens. All the UI disappears and all that's left is the mouse cursor and the background video. Any idea why this is happening? Really need this fixed as I can no longer upload my mods because I need to link the bethesda net account to steam. I have tried to verify the games file and deleting any UI mods but still nothing. Really want to avoid reinstalling

From an immersion and realism perspective, that would make absolutely no sense. The Institute itself is the detonation point of essentially a nuclear bomb. Even if there were passable areas (which there wouldn't be) nothing would be able to protect someone from the levels of radiation that would persist. I imagine there might be a few mod authors out there who don't give a crap about realism that might venture to make this happen. Ye I don't give a s#*! about the realism I just wanna go back and explore because I done the main story so fast I skipped over it.

Can someone make a mod that lets you get back to the institute even after you do blow it up and do the BOS story line ?

Are there any tutorials on how to use tools such as NifSkope to take 2 pieces of armor from fallout and combine them to make one outfit? Like take the 3d model from some body armor and attach it to a dress or something like that.

I have the nif flie for the NCR armor from fallout NV but I am a total noob when it comes to modding. So i was wondering if there is any way to get the armor into fallout 4 using the creation kit. I tried duplicating one of the other armor pieces and replacing the the 3d model but when I add it in game it is just a big red warning mark in the creation kit.

There was an earlier version that had a major bug that causes followers to stop liking / disliking your actions. The new version doesn't do this anymore but those who installed the old version are still left with the bug even after installing the new version. The only option is to start a new game but losing a level 70 character isn't really going to happen. The mod author claims there is nothing he can do and that it would take someone with good scripting skills to fix it. Is there anyone out there that can take a look now that the creation kit is out?

Certain icons in the build menu such as structures and special are invisible and I don't know why. http://imgur.com/B4nrte0 I have the latest AMD drivers with the fix from the Nexus but it has been doing this since launch.
