  1. As far as I understood the problem it's not about the slow movement though. When simply rotating the character without walking at all it also happens. Has to do with the aim animation or something. If the character does the transition to aim and back the camera stops for a moment. That's how I understood it anyways. Unless you are talking about a different bug then no, this is not what happens. It happens at the moment you begin to move when moving slowly, there seems to be a specific spot in the transition from being still animation that causes it, because the slower you move the longer the freeze lasts. And if you push the stick fast the freeze does not happen at all (or is so small as to be unnoticeable). This can be seen in the video I made (not the bug is demonstrated after the 13 second point). Ever time my reticle stops I am still holding the right stick. Further details on the YouTube description - The ini edit I posted actually makes that not so sweet spot so small as to be very difficult to hit. I have still been able to reproduce after this ini edit, but it is actually hard to do and you really have to be trying, as opposed to it happening all the time with the default settings.
  2. I think that has to do with how the locomotion in the game is done. I'll list it but it may be difficult to fix it. That's probably bethesdas job. I have managed to come up with a temporary partial fix while we wait for Bethesda to fix it properly (or some super smart modder to fix it). In your Fallout4.ini under Documents/my games/Fallout 4 Add the following line under [Controls]fLThumbDeadzone=0.9000 This will increase the deadzone on the left stick and make the area where slow movement is possible very small. Meaning you can essentially only run, but you will almost never hit the spot that causes the freeze. It can still happen, but unless you are trying to do it by being really slow and gentle it's unlikely. Unfortunately it makes playing with Stealth much harder  This has made the game playable in third person for me, until they hopefully patch it or a real fix can be found.
  3. INPUT BUG I have found a huge issue that is making the game unplayable in the way that I like to play, namely in third person view. I am pretty surprised to not see it reported here already, it is a MASSIVE bug for anyone playing in 3rd person! When holding a weapon in third person, any slight movement of your character (either with a small push of the left stick on controller or pressing left/right with slow walk on on keyboard) causes camera/aiming movement to freeze for a moment. This means a constant stuttering and freezing while playing that essentially renders third person unplayable for combat! I have confirmed with other players on this forum, Reddit and Neogaf that this is also happening to them. Even on consoles. I REALLY hope there is a fix for this as it is making the game impossible to enjoy right now. I have spent 15 hours trying to fix this issue and it appears that only a patch from Bethesda will fix it. I have made a video to show the issue here - https://youtu.be/1CcTnsIb4RA?t=10 (I don't have permission for links so apologies for the odd formatting. Most should be able to figure out how to fix easily) I am crouching in the video but happens the same when stood up. The link skips to 10 seconds where the issue is shown - 0-10 - Shows that it does not happen with weapon put away 10-20 Showing the freeze. Note at all times the right stick is pushed so that the camera should constantly move, but whenever the left stick is pushed it freezes for a moment. 20-30 Shows how extreme it can be while playing. In this example I am HOLDING the right stick all the way to the right, it should spin constantly, however it freezes every time the left stick is moved! 35-40 Shows how it does not happen if you push the left stick all the way so your character moves fast. I then proceed to show the same issue going the opposite direction. The issue is also present with mouse and keyboard when CAPS is on to lock walking/slow movement.
