  1. Already tried running without them (Only Deadly Dragons and D.S.I.), didn't help. Edit: Is there a way to trigger a quest script fragment from the console ingame?
  2. Still need help with this. Anyone know of a solution besides advancing via console?
  3. So yeah, known problem. Tried loading previous saves several times, tried not touching mouse/keyboard once I clicked on the Elder Scroll, tried spawning different Alduins via console. I want to avoid using the console to force-advance the quest, but just in case, what would I have to do? Advance it to the stage after the vision before reading the scroll? During the vision? How'd I get out of the vision? Are there any non-force-advancing solutions to this bug? Edit: Okay, figured the proper force-advance out, but that's the absolute last resort. Travelling somewhere else and reading the scroll there did either nothing or it teleported me into the vision from whereever I was. Either way, the vision ended up bugged and stuck after Gormlaith's speech.
  4. Open the plugin with a low-level editor (TESSnip and the like) and fix the faulty entries yourself, manually. ... which is of course a whole truckload of work if it's a large plugin. But it's the only solution atm, and you have to repeat it every time you save the plugin with the CS.
  5. The CK update broke the way it saves armor addons, among others. It corrupts the entries the moment you load/save them into the plugin, you don't even have to change anything - now that's service! The result is naked people everywhere. Only solution is to revert back to a previous (pre-1.6) plugin version and avoid the CK for now, until they fix their own bug... again.
  6. Nice timing. I was just breaking my head over how to make him stay with you, since I wanted him to be a permanent follower. However, despite messing around with the AI Packages, nothing made him stay with me. Whenever I fast-travelled, he reverted back to his original AI and hightailed it to Darkwater Crossing. If anyone has an insightful hint on how to fix that, I'd be very thankful! I'd gladly put together a small plugin with a fix, too.
  7. Well, um, yeah. Enough to eat, anyway. Can't have the slave workforce starve away now, can we?
  8. Hate's such a strong word. It's more like casual disinterest. And once I'm done with my apprenticeship, I'll probably say "Screw the taxes, here ya go". It's just that I feel like helping now instead of in 6 months, and you aren't exactly well-paid as an apprentice (at least where I'm from).
  9. I kind of want to support this site, but I really don't feel like donating to the British Government, mainly because it isn't mine. There's no other way, is there?
  10. O...kay, so apparently the mod "Skyforge Plus" interfered with the proper ceremony procession. Deleting it from the data folder resulted in the ceremony going on as it was supposed to be. Weird. Looking at the mod it seemed to have messed with the NavMesh, along with what looked like a lot of pointless clutter in the .esp structure. Maybe that caused the NPCs to hiccup.
  11. Well, the game stores some data in the savegame itself (hence the constant bloating), and if that data originated from borked/conflicting mods it may result in the NPCs staying bugged. If, however, you start a vanilla game (no data mods), play through without any mods, and still run into the same problems, then I guess we can add yet another point to the long list of to-investigate/to-fix bugs.
  12. Doesn't help either, sadly. Any other ideas? Are there console commands to force AI packages onto actors or something like that? My theory's that some script or AI package broke somewhere, so it doesn't properly trigger Vilkas leading you to the ceremony, and Kodlak not talking to you afterwards.
  13. Bump. Similar problem. Got the shard and was told to return to Jorrvaskr; everything was normal up until I arrived at Jorrvaskr. Vilkas stood on the stairs, greeted me and told me to follow him. Except he just stood there instead of heading to the ceremony. Heading there myself triggers the scene with Kodlak giving the initiation speech, but once he finished I'm stuck in no-control mode and Kodlak won't talk anymore (to tell me to head to Eorlund). Re-enabling player control via console doesn't help either, trying to talk to Kodlak results in the game stating that he's busy. Are there any solutions to this? Edit: Regarding earlier saves; does not help. Edit 2: Forcing the quest to complete via setstage will mark it as completed, but the circle members still stay at the ceremony place. Waiting outside Whiterun for a full day doesn't reset them to their regular AI, effectively permabreaking the Companions questline, as they don't talk to me anymore.
  14. The CS will always load all unmodified data from the Skyrim.esm file. If you change something ingame via console, the only place those changes are stored is your savegame. The default settings only change if you change the esm file itself.
  15. Sadly didn't help. She seems to be stuck in a bugged follower mode, since I can still command her around when holding down the Interact button on her for a moment. But afterwards, she just goes back to sitting on the chair in the Drunken Huntsman.
