It would be pretty cool if someone went through and added an extra mesh to the different weapon types so that equipping a pistol also equipped a belt that matched the weapon and had a holster that, when the weapon was stowed, it fit inside the holster mesh. Obviously the way the pistols are drawn would cause it to clip through the holster, but that's ok, it would still look sensible and not as if it's just magnetized to your hip while holstered.

Gun belts: Of course 10mm, laser pistols and revolvers would all need different types of gun belts because the guns have different shapes and bulks.

Shoulder straps: Likely more difficult because many of the different types of clothing and armour would obfuscate the strap that simulates how the rifle is hanging from your back with no support. (Though if I'm remembering correctly, my weapons usually clip through the backpacks and other bodge on the back of the armoured suits, anyway.)

Alternatively there could be two universal belts, one that you wear around your waist that has a magnetic plate or disc that your pistol attaches itself to and another that is a type of harness that has a similar plate or disc on your back that your rifles would attach to. Another practicality is that the belt could be mirrored for melee weapons so that it would give them something to attach to on the other side of your waist.

Whatcha think? :)

Sounds like a really cool idea. I'm not sure how feasible it is without the CS, but if someone could manage this I'd love to have it. Two thumbs up!

I think if it was an armor piece maybe... I think that might work better. But it is more cosmetic then anything.
