Since Fallout three was released, I have been playing around with modding it and since the G.E.C.K. was announced that it is going to be released, I decided the script I was writing is completely possible.

That being said, I would like to take the opprotunity to announce the first large scale mod for Fallout 3, placed in New York. It will focus strictly on Manhattan, where I live, and will not break out into the other islands surrounding the NY area, with the exception of perhaps a few endgame areas. It will be lore coccentric. Meaning it will stay within established Fallout guidelines. This is my idea of what happened to New York in the FO timeline. It obviously is not cannon.

I've been working on the script non-stop. The general draft is finished, the plotline is nearly done, And im working on all the specific dialouge trees. That is taking a lot longer than I thought it would, but I have plenty of time still.

The main quest will focus around a particular vault community. You will reach manhattan probably by a caravan type thing. I haven't particularly decided yet.

Yes the enclave will be there. I am undecided about super mutants. maybe a couple.

Mostly, this post is to establish the name of the mod as MINE, because I am particularly happy with how clever "The Manhattan Project" is.

I am not currently recruiting members as of this moment, as it would be silly without the construction set released and we can fully see our capabilities. After I play around with the GECK a few days, I will post the link to The Manhattan Project forums and begin recruiting for intrest. I have extensive mapping expereince myself and expect to handle most of that aspect. I am familiar with other parts of modding, but I have yet to decide wether I will include new textures, models, etc.

Why are we bumping something that has been dead for 1.5 months??? I doubt that he is still even working on this project.

Let this be the last post please, unless the OP can give this an update.
