  1. Hi, I've been poking around with this too and there is a keyword called PowerArmorHelmetEffectFP_DO that references an audio effect chain called AudioEffectChainPowerArmorHelmet. So I'm thinking that if we create a new keyword referencing one of the other audio chain effects we could attatch it to another item to change the voice in other ways. Right? I'm not used to using FO4Edit so I'm not sure how to ceate new keyword entries. EDIT Sorry, my mistake PowerArmorHelmetEffectFP_DO is a default object, whatever the hell that is.
  2. Sorry my bad, the folders called: behaviors, characters, characters female could also contain .hkx files. try moving (or deleting if want) any .hkx files out of those too if there are any. I don't know the names of the specific files that conflict, so I just deleted all of them :)
  3. This looks like you have an animation mod conflict. It happened to me and it turned out to be a casting animation mod. Mods that change vanilla .hkx files, found in your meshes\actors\character\ folder could be causing it. I deleted the casting animation mod (+ it's files) and now horse combat works fine.
  4. Sorry it didn't work for you but thats what I did, I slept in the thieves guild but I don't suppose that makes any difference. The new 1.6 beta patch seems to make the game more stable as well so mabey try that? edit: Okay I've just loaded up a save of my very first character, a char that was previously unusable, (literally could'nt leave the room I was in, lol) and it worked. I fast travelled to winterhold and ran around through loading screens and all over. I havent done my above sugestion on this char yet so it could only be the 1.6 beta patch that made it work. Having said that, you say that when your game crashes you get a windows message saying "skyrim has stopped working", I didn't get any message at all, it just dropped back to desktop so maby it's a different issue. Also, in the intreasts of fault finding, try setting all your graphics settings as low as you possibly can, just to see if it's over taxing your system. I hope you get it sorted, I know how annoying it is, I feel your pain.
  5. Yea I prefer the picture quality on CRT monitors too but a lot of new games are too dark for my old one, it has no gamma adjustment of it's own.

This happens for me too on every character i make eventually, it started happening on my current char and I deactivated all mods went to an indoor location with a bed and slept for about two weeks, saved, quit skyrim, restarted and loaded the last save. That seemed to fix it (I could go to previously inaccesable areas). I re-activated all my mods and it was still ok. I have since tried it with some older chars and it looks like it works. Hell of a lot of f*&$ing around though.
  7. The video in Svalbard's post above shows you can use two handed swords. the animation looks the same for all melee weapons.

  9. Another conflicting mod is: 3rd Person magic casting animation replacer - not crouching by mirap.
  10. Thanx for the replies, I guess if it was possible someone would've done it by now. It would be nice with all the home mods if your character could just walk around interacting with stuff while you were watching TV or some such.
  11. Does anyone know if it is possible to add AI packages to the player, so that when the camera goes into vanity mode the PC starts wandering or whatever? In the CS the player is just another NPC so it seems like it should be possible.
