  1. See bottom for images and file. I plan on making a new race bassed on some random ideas I had, along with older, dead or unsed concepts, combined with stuff I've recently seen. I started work on it last monday, but i've been unable to get body scaling to work right, and I don't have the mind to come up with as many body patterns as I'd like to. So, I'm reaching out to get a bit of help on it. Name suggestions are good too, since I'm awful with names. Then there is the matter of creating a scipt to give them either shield or armor bassed on not wearing armor. The first thing is a script for one of their passives. I have no idea how to apprach this or make it work. The idea is the race just doesn't use armor, instead getting a passive defensive bonus based on one of their stats or skills. Some sort of passive benefit for not wearing armor that provides enough protection to the player without being too much. Either a shield (the % damage reduction spell) that reduces damage taken only when not wearing armor and scales with level, an armor bonus that scales with health or stamina, or something similar. I am very poor at modeling, so I need some help from someone who knows how to export models correctly for scaling. I just need someone who can make a proper 1 scaled version of the body model. Currently using a cbbe body, but a UNP one will be needed too. Male body is already handled. See bottom for my current mesh (which I'd like to use.) Download link here. Attachment is just the base body. The other thing is just body overlays. They're going to have overlays for their skin to form patterns. Somewhat meant to look like clothing across their body, along with random spots and patterns over them. See below for examples. Patterns should include both head, body and face, but body alone is enough. I'm going to use racemenu to apply them as overlays, in order to give a high level of customizability. I'd perfer them as PSD for ease of compatibility and use. You'll likely need the body to do the textures, so look to the attatchment for the NIF. The race its self is going to be a sort of shadowy race. They lack bodily features beyond simple shape (So no nipples, genitals, or even much skin detail) They're going to be dark skinned with lighter patterning, or light skin with dark patterning (obviously figured out by the user). Intended to be vitrually colorless, save for eyes and hair (once more, as the user picks). I currently intend for thier power to be a daily invisibility and invincibility thing, and they'll have a passive sneaking bonus like the final tier of the sneak tree (but less effective). Low combat skills, but higher magic ability. I'm also considering attatching particle effects to their hands and/or feet, to give a dark smokey look (May not though.) And the final goal is to just not have them wear armor, instead getting deffensive bonus bassed on their health or level (and spells). There will be male and female version, just showing the female first because it's what needs the most work. Here are the existing body and head examples. http://i.imgur.com/r1HXS7E.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gHiQ0nn.jpg And just some closing notes now. I plan on putting the stuff together myself, once its all collected. PM me any extra details or things you don't want to uplad publiclly. I could use a lot of help still. And once more, the body download link http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/609574/body-rar.html . And I do realize now there is some parallel with the Twili from legend of Zelda, but that's entierly conincidental, yet helpful for inspiration. I began work on this before I'd actually seen anything of Twilight princess or Midna, but that actually proved to be helpful in figuring out where to go from.
  2. Looking for some rigging help from anyone good at rigging clothing/armor models.
  3. I'm rather rubbish at modeling and rigging, so I'm looking for a bit of help. At the very least, looking for someone who can fix the rig by getting rid of the clipping and bad weights. Optimally, looking for someone who can fix the surface errors and problems on the UV. If you want, you can make a scaleable version and release it yourself. I don't actually have plans to release it, but if the person who fixes it wants to, then by all means they can. There's clipping on the shoulders, back, bottom of the neck collar, the lower part of the coat is just a mess. Here's a picture and the model link, textures included but not pathed. http://filesmelt.com/dl/ModeltobeHelped.rar http://filesmelt.com/dl/Untitled-385.jpg
  4. Since there is no Skyrim Tri tools for 3ds max, which is what I use, I need some assistance. I'm looking to get some custom morphs for the vanilla headmesh (or one similar to it) for my Kaleen race. Looking to get the ears as morphs (for both male and female) instead of separate models. That's all I need really, the ears made into a morph. If for some reason information for custom race can't be added, just alter the Nord morph. Of course alternatively, someone could just meld the ears into the headmesh, which again requires a modified Tri file to keep the morph groups and animation. That's all the help i'm looking for really. I'd do it myself, but Blender doesn't work on my system, and there is no working 3ds max Tri file editor that I have seen.
  5. Hey man,

I saw you uploaded the Kaleen race :) Well first of all, thank you. My chracter in Oblivion was a Kaleen. Kaylianna; I uploaded a lot of pictures with her if you wanna check out. But I have one question. Is this the final version of the Kaleen? Because in my opinion the face should be smoother. It is too rough and weather-beaten :) It is just a tip dont want to offend you ;)

  6. Looking for someone who can convert some models over to Skyrim NIF for me. I can't get them to work ingame, as NIF they're just fine in the editor, but an explosion iname and thus useless. They're in .obj format and already positioned, they just need to be made into NIFs. I also put in one of my NIF so that what's wrong might be pointed out. Please don't upload or link the converted ones here, PM me the link please.
  7. But it is legitimate, still in the game. You're legitimately gaining money though use of game tools provided.
  8. Their "New" engine is really just built over the same old Gamebryo engine. They overhauled the lighting and particle rendering, added a new shader system and refined some of the game code. There's still plenty of gamebryo in the actual code though.
  9. I get stuck at Blank Window or Black Screen most of the time. And when something does Play it's not bringing up the download servers or just getting stuck as well. Making it a bit difficult when Nothing is happening a Majority of the time, Even with Addblock off it's giving blank windows. Working or not so far is completely random. I'm running whatever the latest version of Firefox is.
  10. It's the Type 6 head most of those are using. It is one of the better headmesh, and comes with a dozen or so variant. Textures though are a big part of how it looks.
  11. You could convert some Oblivion Ear mesh over to fallout 3. You'd have to reshape them slightly. I've tried to but i can't make fallout 3 NIF files. After that you'd need a combined mouth/tongue model since Fallout3 has the ears options greyed out, which means you'll have to use tongue or mouth to add them to the model. Alternatively make it a wearable item. And Finally you would need a head Mesh without Ears on it already, or Combine your new ears with the head mesh. Right now i have one that can fit over the fallout3 head mesh, but i do not have an egt or egm file for it and it is not in Fallout 3's NIF format. In other words i have one that you can't do anything with.
  12. I run 64 bit. The Issue is Python not working, windows refuses to accept it to be installed so blender gets stuck in a loop of trying to make me download and install Python scripting. Python is installed (in four different location) but Blender still can't locate it nor does it allow me to select where it is. Windows nanny is off and everything is run and installed as administrator. Blender is just stuck refusing to believe I have python installed. Python works just fine though.
  13. If I do release it i certainly will credit you. Thanks
  14. Cool thanks. Don't forget the right though, i always managed to. Now why can't blender work right on windows 7 for me?
  15. I just need a little help and someone to make a model for me. I need a tail model with the same length of the Argonian tail, Should be rounded and thin out to a sharp point. Starting thickness should be about the same as the Kajiit one and just gets progressively thinner until it's a a rounded point. Sort of like a Rat's tail. It's for a demon like race.
