  1. Good to know its not just me. Very odd. Seems like some files I can download: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33121 But not others: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15639 This site used to have a way where you could select servers. Not sure why that's been disabled.
  2. I'm currently reinstalling all my mods, and after 2 days, I'm back on track to getting things back to what they were pre-1.5 screwup. The mods I add back in are appearing in game- though only if the Nexus DOES NOT have access to the plugins.ini, and only if I activate each and every mod in the Fallout 4 Mods menu every time I boot up the game. Hopefully some kind of better compatibility patch is coming for that... Unfortunately, ultimately my fix was deleting almost absolutely EVERYTHING on my computer related to Fallout 4 and reinstalling everything back up piece by piece. This includes the Nexus, F4SE, EBE, Fallout 4 Edit, the F4 CK. Seems like the only thing I had left were my saves and porn. I mean- uh-... This has been a 2 day long battle for me, so here's some things I learned along the way. Maybe it'll help you, or other people with similar issues troubleshoot? Even I don't have everything working right now, but I'm getting there. Hopefully this well of otherwise useless knowledge can be put to some good for someone here.
  3. @ClayboTGW, if you're still around, Is that your whole plugin.txt? There was a recent update, maybe 1.5 itself I don't quite know, that added the lines... Do you simply not have those, or did you just not paste them?
  4. From what I can gather, this is an ongoing issue. I myself am facing a similar problem as a result. The asterisks isn't needed, but it seems as though 1.5 now processes mods quite differently. The standard way of loading mods through plugins.txt with the Nexus Mod Manager is now not working, and as a result, Bethesda's rather inconsiderate patch has made it so that files from the nexus cannot be loaded into Fallout 4. Or at least- they can make it to the in-game menu, but not the actual game itself. I'm hoping the staff have been made aware of this, or that a fix has already been found, and I'm just not aware of it yet.
  5. [Doing a little bit of copypasta here from my post on Bethesda.net, in order to maximize the number of people who might find a similar solution.] Hopefully that helps solve at least one person's problem.
  6. Not exactly the easiest solution in the world. Me, a random nobody, asking a large developer which is based across the world, that may or may not have gone under, using a method of Contact Us which does not exist on their website...
  7. Hello good people of the Nexus Forums, I'm a novice modder working on my first big quest mod, that's based on the literary works of H. P. Lovecraft. While I'm nowhere near complete, I was thinking about uploading a current Working-Prototype-In-Progress of my mod, so that my friends and the would could see what I've done so far, and help find any errors with it. My question comes in that a single audio sample I have contains brief clips of audio heard from 2 other games (Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). The sample of mine is very old, and works perfectly in the scene it's in, but I simply cannot remember how I made it - thus I'd rather not have to make it all over again, make a new version of my mod, and rebuild my archive (yet again). Before publishing my mod page I figured it'd be a good idea to check if this use - even as is, is too much of a problem for there to be ramifications. Thanks for the advice! Edit: for some reason the small sound file is freakishly huge. You can get the sound from... http://www.mediafire.com/?wgf87shshcmlwi2
  8. == Closed == Hi guys I have a question more for what kind file I can upload than its abillity to work. See, I ask because I include songs from other videogames into my music dirrectory so I can listen to them while I play Oblivion. Would I be able to upload the sound tracks or original sound tracks from other games like Halo in my music folder (so that other people could also listen to the songs too) without a penalty or ban? Or is this against the copyright rules?
  9. Hi there, I have reciently released a mod which turned out to be much buggier and "dirtyer" than I had originally intended (which was, not at all). As an example: I believe I acidentally recompled all the scripts. I have been recomended Tes4edit butI have had minimal experience with it. I was wondering if anyone could help me out by giving me a link to a how-to-clean, or sharing any advice. Thanks in advance.
