adventuring in skyrim is awesome but it leaves something more desired. Being married is pretty pointless and the only perk is to get a small amount of income from your spouse. well, wouldnt it be nice if WE could run the business? i was thinking a farming mod, you would be able to purchase a new home/plot of land and be able to till the soil, fence it, plant the seeds, water them, and harvest them. i imagine doing each task as a kind of mini game a lot like harvest moon. you would be able to assign the spouse to do the work while youre gone, but its better if you do it yourself because when youre away there is a higher chance of your crops failing. would be neat to also have growth animations from sprouts to full grown plants over time so you feel immersed. also you would be able to implement actions for all the useless farm tool lying around skyrim and give them a purpose and also add other tools to the game and start with basics and be able to sell old equipment and eventually work your way up to better and faster equipment, maybe dwemer style automated crop systems ;). just a lot of ideas floating around in my head and if someone put in the effort and really made this well, it would be amazing and would add an entire new dimension of gameplay to skyrim. this way it gets the player involved in the decision making processes instead of some stupid crap like on fable where you buy a shop and you just get money for it. what do you guys think? i think someone should do this. :D
