SSE Skeleton mage summon won’t cast spells

Yes Ive checked if he has enough mana. Yes he does meet the skill requirements. Yes I put draugr magic class and draugrmagic combat style. And yes I made the spells lefthanded only. He equips the spells but then never uses them and just runs around during combat. Pls help :/ EDIT: Nevermind. I gave it the spell blade class and combat style and it works perfectly now -
Thx, will try the new script As for your questions: 1. I opened the actor in CK and put the script under scripts 2. Im trying to send the special_groundemerge.hkx animation 3. Yes, I typed special_groundemerge for the animation in the script 4. Yes he is capable of playing that animation as he already does it when replacing the special_summon animation and its also in his animation list EDIT: tried your new script, it says "setalpha" is not a function or does not exist

This is what I did : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33955?tab=images Now it works alright with the summon bubble fx but when I remove it, you can see the skeletons whole body for a split second before it emerges from the ground. You think theres any way to fix that ? I want them to be invisible until the emerge from the ground animation starts EDIT: tried your script out of curiosity and the animation wonât play no matter what...

Thx but I actually found a much simpler solution :tongue: Turns out creatures already play a certain animation when summoned by default. All I had to do was replace that animation with my own and it worked :smile: Will keep this script in mind for other uses though :smile: If I did end up using the script and wanted no delay for the animation to start id just set the wait to 0.0? and do i add the script to the summon magic effect or to the creature ?

I actually typed the conditions in the right order in the OP :D But in my mod it wasnât working properly because the is female and condition was at the bottom ... -

Thx for the reply but I already managed to fix it. Turns out for some reason the order of the conditions o the second effect was wrong. Putting the is female condition under an or condition so it never really checked which race the female was since being female alone would already fulfill the condition. To anyone facing a similar problem: make sure the order of your conditions makes sense.( It goes from top to bottom) -

That would have been my last resort since I would also have to exclude any creature race I didnt want which would mean an extremely long conditions list. I specifically need this to work by including the races I want it to affect. ill try changing around the order of the conditions tomorrow ... Thx for the reply :) -
So I made a spell with 2 magic effects. 1 will trigger on a dead male body of non elf races and the other effect will only trigger on a dead female elf race. The 1. Effect works exactly as intended The 2. Effect somehow works on any dead female regardless of race instead of working on elven females only The conditions for the second effect are as follows: GetDead = 1 and Getissex female = 1 and Getisrace highelf = 1 or Getisrace darkelf = 1 or Getisrace woodelf = 1 or Getisrace snowelf = 1 or For some reason this effect works on any female of any race still. Even though I did the exact same conditions but with male and humanoid races on the first effect which works as intended... Help pls

Making the spell you want is no problem for me but adding this kind of animation to it is. I donât even know if itâs possible to add animations to spells ... That being said, the animation I posted is lost according to the creator. So it would have to be remade from scratch . -

That is very easy, just assign the different model to auriels shield in the creation kit -
Id like to request equippable "skirts" with hdt physics. When i say skirts i mean clothing bits that you can equip on your armor at the waist (an example would be the "skirt" part of the resplendent armor mod : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17510). It would basically be like cloaks/capes but for your waist. im actually surprised this doesnt exist yet :D

Nevermind, after an hour or so of trying to figure this out I noticed I didnât actually attach the new models to the weapon in CK :D Might be helpful to someone else trying to make custom weapons for the first time ^^
