What's up guys Moving to a dorm soon so i'll be upgrading my current PC (built in 2007) to something more modern and compact. This thing is 6 years old already so most of the stuff in it is severely outdated... Here are the specs: (none oc'd) C2D (3.1GHz) EVGA GTX260 SC ('09 upgrade) 4GB ram 2x250GB 7200RPM(raid 0) 1200P monitor Skyrim and Aion are pretty much the only games I actively play on my PC so i'm not too concerned about other stuff. Some performance numbers on these games: Skyrim (1200p + Ultra + FXAA + heavily modded) FPS = 15-25 Aion (1200P + max settings + FXAA) FPS = 10-20(town) 40+(outdoors) Here are the X51 specs: i7 3770 (3.4 - 3.9 GHz) "OEM" GTX 660 (will upgrade to a GTX 770 later on if TDP is adequate) 8GB ram 256GB sammy SSD 1200P monitor I can read benchmarks on the web all day but i'm more interested in hearing from someone else's personal experience with a similar upgrade(not necessarily a X51) . Will I be able to get a solid 45+ FPS with the mentioned settings after the upgrade? Also, I know I can build a PC for half the price with better specs and I have the know-how to but that's not i'm looking for right now. Thanks for any insight!
