  1. Emogene Cabot is not at Amphitheater during quest "Emogene takes lover".
  2. Yeah, I did same thing. I headed north from vault, followed north border far east. Made home on Coastal cottage. Then wandered south, did even some quests, and went back west later. I went help minutemen and after quest went to sanctuary around Red rocket. So I still haven't met dogmeat. I didn't use powerarmor though.
  3. Are you sure it's right place? c:\users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt Open plugins.txt properties with right click, uncheck read-only cross, open plugins.txt it, put * (star / asterisk) mark before every mod that isn't official. Short example: (I don't have any DLCs yet, so only official is Fallout.esm) Fallout4.esm *Homemaker.esm *ArmorKeywords.esm *CROSS_CosmeticFramework.esm After you put * marks on all custom mods, close plugins.txt, open properties and click it to be read-only again. Open fallout either with Fallout4.exe or f4se_loader.exe (if you have f4se), not with any mod manager. This is how i made my game load all plugins with 1.5.
  4. Generally, if your CPU meets the minimum requirements, the game should run, but only with everything turned down to their minimum settings. Most PC issues like this are actually self inflicted, by the natural tendancy to want the best settings. Only the latest kit should play any new game on Ultra+. If your PC meets the minimum requirements always use the lowest settings. When most have no problems, but you and a few others do, if dropping to minimum serttings, doesn't solve your issues, it's possible only a component upgrade will. I don't know AMD CPU's at all, but the graphics card is good enough and it's listed as an 8 core CPU. So appears well above minimum, but with that GPU, Ultra+ is clearly to high. If you see issues, try minimum everything and that should run fine, PC's aren't like consoles they range from weaker than console to about 3 or 4 times better than them. That;'s why we have variable settings. We all want and can use Ultra+, most must accept some loss of performance, to run on ultra. Only you can decide what you will accept and what you won't. The standard is 1080p @ 60FPS, if your standard is higher, say 1440p @ 144+ FPS, then you need the latest kit. 900p which you use, is less to render, that may be all the difference you need. Ok, thanks. Game been running fine with High settings, but i have tweaked some light and shadow settings to be lower for smoother play. If Institute lags I just turn settings down little. Or maybe just turn reflections off, and see if that's the problem.
  5. Yeah, I do this with ini files too. Won't mess resolution with fullscreen and won't disable mods if they readonly.
  6. What resolutions you use? I'm running on AMD fx-8320 and Gtx 760, 12GB ram I haven't been in institute yet, but reading this im afraid i get lags. I play on 1600x900 resolution on my 32" fullhd tv though. Any bigger resolution makes any text too small for my like.
  7. Okay after search and testing I found fix here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=554906882 If anyone else has this problem, that link has good instructions how to fix this bug. Worked for me.
  8. Hey, i had same problem. It seems launcher resets resolution for some reason. You have to edit two different ini files to be exact same: Fallout4Prefs.Ini in your user/.../documents/My Games/Fallout4 folder AND Fallout4Prefs.ini in your Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout4 folder there is another Fallout4 folder there that has only one file and its Fallout4Prefs.ini. If you edit both of these files Find similar to this: bTopMostWindow=0 bMaximizeWindow=1 bBorderless=1 bFull Screen=0 And change it to values i have here. Also Make sure resulutionvalues: iSize H iSize W are same in both files. Save both files and then start fallout only with Fallout4.exe, not Fallout4Launcher.exe This fixed me the fullscreen problem.
  9. Hi. Has anyone encountered this bug? My pipboy is invisible, i can see keyshortcuts bottom of the screen but nothing else. I think this has to do something with that I was wearing powerarmor and then put powerfist as favorite, after that I tried put it on with shortcut key, nothing happened. I opened pipboy and saw it can't be wielded with powerarmor. Anyway, after that i exit powerarmor, my pipboy is gone. It shows fine when i use powerarmor, but when not, i can't see pipboy at all. Anyone know how to fix this?
  10. I have same problem. And it's weird vanilla Generals runs fine.
  11. I want to know more about it first. Compatibility with programs, operation speed compared to 8.1, will it support my old soundcard Theadron DD(8 didn't find new drivers, found luckily working ones made by other company), and other small details. Propably upgrading in time anyway. It has year time anyway. They keep updating it.
  12. Try this tweaking guide: http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/43594/t1591200-fallout-new-vegas-pc-tweak-guide/ There is atleast option to get more cpu cores used.
  13. Lel, I always install everything manually. But yeah, need mod sorting program with archive invalidation (bsa tools are nice too) and I also use wrye bash for compatibility. To start you can use something like NMM for easy installing, but if you learn how to do with manually, you can fix lot installing errors yourself. That's why i recommed learning manual way.
  14. Sid Meier's Pirates is one of the best pirate themed games. Even it's pretty old. I'm suprised I can't find many mods for it. Looks it's very easy to mod. There is this PakBuild tool that extracts files and game uses Nif's and DDS just like Bethesda games. I have made few texturereplacers for it, also made my custom ENB. Then there is this new game called Raven's cry. I looks good, I haven't played it though. And found out something called Pirates of Black Cove, that seems to be strategy game.
  15. Making custom weather could work. Make clouds and sky look like water surface. Just idea I got from thinking about Fallout weather mod called Infernal sky. It makes the world look so different than vanilla.
