  1. Not exactly the best title but here is what I am trying to do. I would like to explore the possibility of creating a mod that will cause the PC to look at whatever the Cross Hair (Camera) is currently pointing at thus basically tracking the mouse movement. I am currently envisioning this to be implemented as follows: 1. Create invisible and non-interactive object 2. Float this object in the middle of the game screen some distance into the screen 3. Set the PC to Look At this object Presumably, if I can maintain the object in the middle of the screen (i.e. where the cross hair is) and say about 10-20 feet into the screen, the PC, while looking at this object, will appear to follow the mouse/camera movement. I have looked through the scripting objects and do not see any functions that return any data associated with the camera to determine where it is currently pointing at, same for Cross Hairs. If anybody has any information to help me with this, I greatly appreciate it. Also, if such a mod already exists, appreciate a linky. Thanks in advance.
  2. I am running into a situation that I cannot figure out. It appears as though the face of character is changing when I transition from inside to outside and vice versa. Its not consistent and the change is subtle not drastic. Basic structure is the same but settings such as eye shape and/or position, width of jaw, length of chin and coloring of the face. It looks almost like a headmesh change but I am not running any externally generated versions that I can find. Companions/Followers are not changing and I do believe all females of a single race share the same headmesh so that seems to rule that out. Showracemenu command typically resets it back but it does not persist. I have been adding/removing mods a ton, lot's of character changing ones as well. Pretty sure I cleaned up good after discarding any particular mod but ... Seems like settings are not persisting. I can't say for sure when it started, as I said its subtle. Anybody come across this before and if so, any tips on a solution?
  3. Not sure how prevalent this problem is but.... If you are experiencing a ghosting effect on grass with 1.5 that appears like a semi transparent overlay over the grass, try the following settings in SkyrimPrefs ini file in the [Display] section: bTreesReceiveShadows=1 bDrawLandShadows=1 Worked for me. Just FYI.
