  1. Pretty much what GRUmod said. This is a reason why comments/likes/dislikes are off on his videos and why you don't see his guides on public spaces where one can comment publicly.. Thousands of people following bad modding advice. I mean.. the cherry on top; even the authors of viva new vegas have to warn users about guides from this particular individual. Quote by viva new vegas on mods to avoid: Sinitar's Gameplay Overhaul (or anything made by Sinitar): Sinitar knows nothing about modding, as shown by his guide that includes most of the mods on this list. SGO is full of bugs, broken features, awful balance, and Sinitar's trademark typos. Avoid anything he makes at all costs
  2. Thank you both. I could not find Quanari update. Glad Moddb still has some files that were on Biowares site! And of course, I shouldn't even ask for the obvious about uploading it. My bad. As for what I mean with premium content, it's some extra rings and items one could download in the past from both the main menu and from the official bioware site. All downloadble content is added with the ultimate edition. Edit: Yes the wiki promo item links work! Thanks for the links. Actually fixed something I already gave up on lol. Steam versions has some other exceptions that require workarounds, like the memory patch.
  3. As some of you may be aware, it's nearly impossible to gain acces to some of the premium content anymore since the official download links are disabled. Since yesterday biowares social site has closed entirely, meaning mods like Light mesh fixes and the Quanari update are no longer available anymore. I still have these mods myself and was wondering if I could upload this to the Nexus for above said reason? http://social.bioware.com/project/4592/
  4. I to have a question for you people. I know there is a mod that makes it so that multiple followers won't attack eachother. I can't remember it's name and can't find it anywhere. I think its a OBSE Plugin. As of now, Vilja, toc toc and red panda tend to murder eachother.
  5. I think the wayshrine is this. Should also cover the pillars. You need a account there thouh. This site has many great oblivion texture mods. Use a translator if you don't know russian: http://tesall.ru/files/file/7982-dorojnye-svyatilischa-ot-katkat74/ Doomstone looks familair. Might be somethng from: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43496/? or http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/18498/? It's somewhat of a wild gues, but the textures look in place with those.
  6. Almost sure one of them needs Unofficial legendary patch. Do you use SKSE? Did you set the ini up properly? Perhaps also try Enboost if the crash is a memory problem. Did you clean your dlc's before modding with tes5edit?
  7. It's not a request and not the wrong thread Qwertyzeldar. meadyaon, maybe this is to your liking: bone bikini armor: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70376/? or maybe Skeleton armor: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62948/?
  8. First you will need to make sure SKSE and enboost is setup correctly. This will help you with memory usage preventing crashes and eternal loading screens. Skyrim can never go on par with your computer, not even with those installed though. Skyrim has it's limits regardless of how beast your pc might be Make sure you also try out running it without Jk whiterun. Jk series are notorious to be heavy and drop fps. Maybe try out jk lite instead, see if it makes a difference.
  9. You could try Vindsvept. Many youtube showcasers like to use his music to, basically because he doesn't mind monetization as long as you give hime proper credits and a link to his youtube channel. His music just really goes well with Skyrim. His tracks are on bandwagon for a very small price. I believe it's 5 dollars as a minimum for all his tracks. Here is his youtube sou get the idea: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfSUheoljDlGDjerRylO4Nw Brunuhville, adriaan von ziegler, Omnia and maybe Faun are also really good composers with fitting music for skyim. However, I'm not sure if you can use all their music in your project without it getting 'claimed' by them. Other than that witcher music or dragon age music can be fitting to.
  10. Try Amazing follower tweaks, immersive amazing follower tweaks or similair follower mods. They usually have options to redress followers and have multiple of them.
  11. This is an amazing idea. Been looking at the site and some posts real quik. There seem to be some decent mod loadouts on it already. I really hope this gets more attention, seems like a ton of effort went into it. This could be incredibly helpful for new and experienced mod users alike. Hope I can manage to contribute to this somehow at some point.
  12. You can see a lot with tes5edit. Merge plugin also gives information on what the mod is, dependencies and certain scripts. Basically having 30 followers around at the same time is most likely a no go. Even though I seen crazier things go well. It depends what other 'heavy' mods you use. I couldn't really see why you would want more than 3-5 followers at the same time though. Having more than 3 followers usually results them getting in the way or them doing everything for you. I used about 15 followers myself on the same playthrough. I do choose them with care and never have more than 3 around. inigo, vilja-chaconne, sephina, sophia-toccata, husky followers, armored sabre cat, Lunariana, mirai with customizer, Mrissi, bishop romance, shaley, rs daemonic followers, signar vivace I used more of course, but these were ones I could recall right now. The special edition can indeed handle more load. More characters will fight at the same time and you can get manage to have a lot more characters on screen before a crash. It's a lot more stable. See broduals video with hidden extras, or my videos for a short review on it if you like. Aft, eff, iaft etc. do indeed mess with certain chars like inigo. I however used this together with no problem, as long as you don't try to activate the iaft, eff, aft etc. options on him. Or even better, exclude it with tes5edit or make a patch if possible.
  13. Hey there, There are indeed a few places where many authors dump their followers. Candleheart hall, whiterun inns, Sleeping giant inn and a few more of those. This normally is no problem, as long as skyrim can still handle it all loading in without crashing. Just try and see if it can handle it. Or better, try a memory tracker in game, and see if there is memory room for so many followers. There are ways to place a follower in another location through the CK. With bijjin and other overhauls you can also exclude certain npcs with tes5edit, when certain mods try to apply a change to the same character. While immersive creatures can indeed be a heavy load, you can disable the random cell spawn located in the advanced options. This will help a lot on your load. When worried about using too many esps for just followers, look into mergeplugin. 'MOST' Followers can be safely merged with mergeplugin to safe up on Esp room and overall make it more stable.
  14. There is a lot to know when you are seriously about modding Skyrim. I'd say the very first program you will have to understand and run before messing with any mods is tes5edit (seedit for special edition). After that you have to choose how you will install your mods. Either using Mo, Nmm or manual install. Nmm is the most user friendly, but also most limited. It's A decent tool if you just want to add a few mods and none of those mess with eachother. Load order is important when modding Skyrim, for this you can use the program LOOT. Which in most occasions does solve the load order for you. Finally understanding the program wryebash will really help with modding. If you already know about these program I recommend watching mod showcase channels. Or specifically search for the things you want. 'Hearthfire overhauls' or 'high end graphics skyrim'. Graphics are very personal. Best to do your research carefully to see if it is something you want. Also be carefull when modding Skyrim. Your pc can be beast, but skyrim itself can only handle that much. Especially on the long haul of playing. A lot of mods are compatible with Skyrims special edition. Many mods will probably get compatible over time. Skse will have to be released for Skyui and other mods to work properly. The best way to know about conflitcs is using tes5edit. Conflitcs however, aren't always gamebreaking. Seriously modding Skyrim is a game on it's own  There are no real must have mods per se other than the unofficial legendary patch and Skyui in my opinion. It's something very personal. I myself couldn't go without about 70 mods, while others might find my choice odd. :)
