  1. Hey there, I use Vortex as a quick way to enable & disable mods that I am working on. I noticed that my mod was active both in "Plugins" and in the "Mods" section. I figured this was bad & that I should use the "Plugins" section for my mods. I went back to "mods" & selected "remove" thinking that it would just be "removed" from Vortex but remain in "Fallout 4/Data". I believe that Vortex asked me if I wanted to delete the archive (which I said yes to, again assuming this would not alter my "Fallout 4/Data" folder. Looking back at the ESP now located in Fallout 4/Data, it has been reverted to a "2020-12-26" version, meaning tons of my work has been lost? I obviously did something wrong, but why would vortex even delete or change files in the "Fallout 4/Data" folder to begin with? Also, how do I recover my .esp?
  2. Hey! Thanks for your reply! I understand how that works, as I have made stand alone outfits before, however, the BGSM/JSON files for combat armor's don't exactly make sense to me. For example, the combat armor chest JSON/BGSM file does not state anywhere what colour it uses from the palette.. if I read the file correctly, which confuses me. That is kind of where I need clarification I suppose, Once again, thanks for your reply CelsiuZ
  3. Hello! I am not new to modding in Bethesda games, however, I cannot for the life of me understand how Combat Armor is modified. All I am seeking to do is, to find out the secret knowledge behind how to create replacing combat armor as well as stand alone combat armor. I understand that Fallout 4 uses a palette system when it comes to colors. But how that works, I honestly don't understand, I've tried to rip apart the structure and make up of many mods from people on here, but it still hasn't given me any insight on how to do it. Could someone link a tutorial (if there is one, and I have in that case missed it) or explain in laymans terms how the two things I am trying to do was done. Thanks a lot, CelsiuZ
  4. Wowt thats awesome, I absolutely love the way its written! Really witty, so thank you for that! The only thing I emphasize is its very very pre-alpha state, there are more glitches than key combinations ;) If you have any suggestions yourself after having reviewd the mod, please by all means send them to us! I've already spotted a few issues from your screen pictures that I need to deal with! ;) Again, thank you, I look forward to reading the rest! :D
  5. The mod is indeed not finished, we started over from scratch and have tried to map it more realistically to scale!
  6. Hey First i'd reccomend you watch this video, as it gives you a sort of overview of what modding armor entails: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTQEDM9zY5k And, this one will go a bit deeper into detail of Meshes and Textures: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4KtDcpf3Lw What I am assuming you are asking is how to change textures and meshes? If so those videos should answer your question, if not, post and I'll try to help you some more! Cheers, CelsiuZ
  7. Beastly, It will be fine, we are working very well together and its more a hobby project than anything. We have broken the mod down into "provinces" so it will be more managable. We love the mod so we are not likely to stop working on it anytime soon. Thanks for your comment anyways, its not exactly what we wanted to hear, but it is true that we need to realize the huge complexity and scale of the work we have tried to do. We are determined to at least create something. Perhaps not all of WoW, but we want to make something out of it :)
  8. Neither did I, i have been checking the thread out almost daily, but i never saw page 2 :psyduck: Anyways, MissSazira you have mail in your mailbox, zZzReMiiXzZz, you have messages on skype ;) @AlduinWorldEater, I dont either, and should that day happen I am very happy to talk it out with them, theres always a solution. Hey, sometimes support and encouragement is all a modder needs! ;D Thanks guys! CelsiuZ
  9. Bump: I apologize for bumping, but we really are in dire need of a texture artist! Thank you, CelsiuZ
  10. I have the exact same problems I think, I've been following the same tutorial and some of the options mentioned in the tutorial are grayed out/not available for change for me in my programs. Is there anyone out there who models armour who could lend this thread a hand? (bump)

  12. EnaiSiaion, Havnt gotten one yet and we've been around for a while. Were not claiming we are World of Warcraft, were just bringing the feeling back, were not making a 100% authentic copy even.. Plus our resources are our own. If worst comes to worst we will just rename everything change the textures around and they have no claim. As long as it stays a 100% free project we should in theory be okay! //Celsiuz
  13. Hey, Yes we are , thank so so much for your offer to help! I will definitly contact you in the future when we get closer to releasing the alpha! Should not be too long! //CelsiuZ
  14. Haha, Why hate it, it was a freaking brilliant game at one time, i truly think that it is one of the games where i have been most immersed in. Granted i dont like WoW anymore since they patched the crap out of it, but hey, they cant cater to all players!
  15. Hey! We definitly need help! I will contact you with further details as the mod progresses, we are currently trying to finish up Elwynn forrest and Duskwood so we can do a public release of them as an alpha. We will probably not use voice acting in the alpha, but definitly further on we have some things that we will use it for. An example right of the bat is greetings, guards in WoW always had a greeting for you, and we would like to use it in our mod as well: Examples: "Greetings." "Hey, there." "You need something?" "What can I do for you?" "Light be with you!" "Well met." "Hello!" "Good day to you!" "How are you?" "Light bless you." "King's honor friend." "Forget something?" "I'm kind of busy." "Quit it!" "What's your problem?" "Knock it off!" "You're getting on my nerves!" Its a small easter egg, but we feel its better than just using regular skyrim guard dialouge to immerse you a bit better. As i said, i will message you with further details as to how the mod progresses. Thank you so much for offering to help us! //CelsiuZ
