I found this.... http://ftp.uesp.net/wiki/Tes5Mod:SkyEdit but I cannot wrap my head around it. Can anyone help me get a few allready created (modified textures) into the game as new items rather than replacers?

I have a mod that I need some help with. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4632 I still have to tweak some textures but I need help with a few things that are outside of my current knowledge. Here is what I need help with: 1) The display mesh for the crating or item menu is a mess I dont know how to fix this. 2) If anyone knows who to add a slight shine to the chain shirt, let me know and I'll give it a slight gloss. Is this a specular map? I pulled the chain shirt texture from the Ebony chain armor. Just not sure how to add it back to this file. 3) I have a lot of request for a non-replacer version.
