  1. This started happening last night all of a sudden. I use MO2. I had everything working fine, then out of the blue CK (and Sublime which I had working as well), stopped being able to compile scripts. In the CK now when I go to compile a script, it just freezes for an hour and then says compile failed. There output window is completely empty, and I don't mean it says it's unable to fine a file, or wasn't able to set an object reference. I literally mean an empty white rectangle with 0 text whatsoever. If I force-quit PapyrusCompiler.exe mid-process I get "ObjectReference.psc(1,1): no viable alternative at character ':'" In Sublime's case I can't even get the Papyrus package for it to install correct. Following the instructions on the page for it, I don't get the settings file generated required to point to my game paths. Can anyone help? I've reinstalled the CK, Sublime, tried disabling Antivirus, running a SystemFileChecker, restarting, updating Windows. It looks like somehow the compiler itself is broken. But I just reinstalled it so that shouldn't be possible. Not sure what else is left at this point. EDIT: Bypassing MO2 sees success. So it's like the VFS in Mod Organizer isn't letting programs access the compiler for some reason. Reinstalling MO2 did not help.
  2. I really like the articles you have been posting with the interviews from popular mod authors. I know it's maybe an uncomfortable spotlight for them, but it's nice to see their responses to some of the questions asked and it is always a surprise to find out some of the other details about them outside of modding.
  3. Jeez, I had no idea he was so young. Amazing. You've done so much for the Bethesda modding community ousnius. Thank you.
  4. I have some armor I'm adding transparency to. I've attached the NiAlphaProperty and adjusted the alpha channel on my diffuse map. I'm using the 4845 flag since I want partial/gradual transparency. The problem is that the entire armor turns semi-transparent and not just the pieces that are colored black in the alpha channel. The color channels don't have any transparency in these areas that are turning transparent either. So why is the entire armor turning semi-transparent and how can I fix this?
  5. I need a male santa outfit for a mod I'm making. I'm no modeler or texture maker however, once the resources are there I can work with them. There's a mod already on the nexus of resources I would use however I can't get in contact with the author (who has been inactive for the last 5 months) and I have no hope for them to come back. Unfortunately Nexus support has said there's nothing they can do in the form of alleviating permissions for me to be able to legally use it. This is why I have to make a request. Thank you to whoever takes this on. it is Greatly appreciated. Mod referenced in case someone needs reference material: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2216/
  6. EDIT: Seems Skyrim overwrit/removed my face textures with the most recent update. For whatever reason it decided not to replace them. I don't know why I didn't think of this initially, but I didn't see Steam downloading the update/missing files so that might be why. Thanks for your concern with the problem though! Here's a screenshot: http://i48.tinypic.com/30sk4nt.jpg Is there no way to have the masterlist display as a scrollable textbox in my message? It'd be awfully long if I just paste it in. The masterlist.txt is too big to upload, so I uploaded the modlist.txt
  7. This is different than the simple "Creation Kit expport face textures and pack into .bsa". It just happened all of a sudden. Haden't installed a mod in over two weeks and haden't even played in over a week. I load up my game and all of a sudden, all females have a big black streak over their entire face, it covers everything below the eyes so their forehead is still colored right. It seems to change somewhat like it's a lighting bug so I tried unsinstalling my enb series, problem was still there. I tried updating my graphics card drivers, no luck either. Is this a bug with the latest version of skyrim or something? I don't remember there being an update though. Any suggestions? Would be nice to be able to actually see women's faces again.
  8. I'm trying to simply apply a texture replacement I found onto another set of clothing that I made seperate from Skyrim's into an esp file. The problem is that the clothing becomes invisible when the weight is set to anything but 100. I'm assuming this is beacause of some error with the _0.nif meshes. But I don't understand what. Any help on this would be really great because then I'd be able to have a fully functioning addon.
