  1. I am trying to make some hair mod but I cannot seem to be able to find a good (audible) tutorial anywhere. I don't mind if it is written with some screenshots... Other than just video itself with no or too small audible explanation, I am perfectly fine with it. Either 3DS Max or Cinema 4D is fine.. I've been looking for these gems for some time but I just cannot find hair tutorials for Skyrim..
  2. @ trold I do not remember ever pressing Apply button but I've just fixed the problem. Strangely I had to translate the sheath to negative value... Now it comes out perfectly in the game. Funny that now that the sheath goes over the handguard in NifSkope and Cinema 4D.. Yet it comes out properly in the game..
  3. Well the title says everything pretty much.. I made a sheath for my custom made sword and I changed Scb data from NifSkope. However, for some reason, Sheath is bigger than what I expected and I can see the back of the blade sticking out through the sheath. (Happens only in the game) I checked the sword and sheath object through Cinema 4D and NifSkope but they have no problem showing the sheath is right sized. There is not a single hint of blade sticking out either. But whenever I check it in the game the sheath is longer than I expected and I can see blade sticking out.. Already tried translation and scale in NifSkope but that didn't change a thing.. I don't think it even changed the scale and translation in the first place.. I cannot think of a single reason why this is happening.. Are there any fix for this?
  4. Another thing to add. It only happens after combat... I've just tried following: 1) kill a Thalmor (because I don't like them) 2) check if there is this glitch -- There is! 3) Change to other sword 4) Change back to my sword And the glitch is gone! I am wondering.. Can this be blood texture gone wrong?
  5. So I managed to fix my problem with texture not applying properly by making a new model. (Then I read replies on my list...) But now I am getting problems like below.. I hope it has nothing to do with polygons on the model.. The model itself has more vertices than recommended that I was wondering if it would work on Skyrim properly. (What I remember is around 10,000 vertices on the model itself. Will provide more detailed information if needed) https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t31.0-8/10514182_1446148638987775_6992885086428930658_o.jpg https://scontent-b-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/10495307_1446148628987776_8972654833806653411_o.jpg I didn't notice this problem (it seems to happen in certain times..) until I walk around with it. The first picture is after I had combat and second is when I was just walking around.. Funny thing is, the second photo happened when I was standing infront of candles but when I restarted Skyrim, they were gone. I saved the game on the spot where I saw this glitch so it should be there... Any suggestions?
  6. I am experienced with making textures for Flight Simulator X aircraft so I know it has to be .dds (though FSX works with BMP and PNG). Anyway the texture problem has been fixed (I just made a new model from scratch..) but thank you for the tip on the grip position! I was wondering at which point on 3D tools the character holds the sword.. Thank you for your answer!
  7. My quote button doesn't work properly so I'll just say @ user (This is just my new ID so yeah. I'm yuikris) @ The SHOCKER So.. I did something wrong when I was working with Cinema 4D then... I couldn't find the fix for it so I made another model and it worked. But next time, I'll keep in mind about the UV map. Thank you!
