  1. If so, please let me know ASAP. I have been unable to continue it with everything going on. And I ended up losing the update I was working on so I can't update it. :( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58621/?
  2. That isn't necessarily the case: just because you give credit, doesn't mean that you can get away with using the assets. If the assets are Open Source or Permission was given to use them, then the modder can use them, and of course credit them. CK Projekt allows people to use their assets as I'm sure Modders have sought out permission to use them. They didn't just go and use them.
  3. Threads can only be locked and I suggest seeking out an administrator to have the others locked. Edit: Spelled Seeking wrong.
  4. Heh, thank you for your comment. I'll definitely come to you if I need assistance. :) Yes, the character is not a fighter at all and I wanted to give the opportunity for you to train her, which what I have in mind is you spar with her, as I think it would be refreshing to be a teacher, and I think there are some followers out there that implement it but in different ways. I don't blame you for thinking, here we go again, another realistic follower, as there are lots already out there. I don't plan to squeeze every option under the sun with her as I am more excited to get working on her quest. :P
  5. Thank you. Yes, I plan to make it happen every five hours, but she will only leave after a couple of days. I will mark it with a asterisk to indicate it being an optional feature.
  6. For the past two months I have been working on a custom voiced follower called Addla. I have already got a small quest laid out, the place that she lives in, her look, and I have been brainstorming on what I can add to her to really make her an in depth character for people to enjoy. To summarize what type of character she is, is that she is a beggar, does not like bards (linked with quest), does not drink alcohol (linked with quest), likes to gamble in underground pit fights, has a thing for Siddgeir, does not like Stormcloaks or Ulfric, does not like Werewolves, has no combat experience whatsoever, and wants to start her own supply shop in Falkreath. When she first meets the Dragonborn, she is not blown away, neither does she act cold towards them (unless they hassle her and then she will call the guards), but she just keeps to herself. So far, the couple of points that I have down that I hope to implement are: http://tumblestone.net/tamarch/images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif Will ask you for food/drink/rest if she needs it (if you do not have it, she will go home to satisfy those needs)* http://tumblestone.net/tamarch/images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif Relationship progression http://tumblestone.net/tamarch/images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif Has no combat skills but you can train her in any type of combat style. http://tumblestone.net/tamarch/images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif Interaction with other NPCs http://tumblestone.net/tamarch/images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif Able to convince her to do things out of her comfort zone * = Optional Of course, I am open to and do encourage more suggestions as I would really like to flesh out her design. I have sent the lines to the Voice Actress to be recorded but I would like to hear what else people would like. Please let me know below. http://tumblestone.net/tamarch/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif This is what she looks like: http://i.imgur.com/QlboB6I.png Would like to thank the following authors, Humannature66, Kalilies, Fuse, Hellosanta, LogRaam, Dimon, for allowing use of their work.
  7. I was at that point myself, so I took a break for a bit and played some other games just to clear my mind of things Skyrim and I installed some mods to make the game that bit more challenging. I use Simple Taxes, Become a Beggar, Become a Skooma Dealer, Skyrim Immersive Creatures, Frostfall, Wet and Cold and all addon packs, and turned the setting up to legendary. I decided to get into character and really role play. :)
  8. To upload to Nexus, go to the tab files and click add a file and then it shall take you through steps on which game you want to upload too and the information about the mod itself.
  9. Heh, I gladly accept (no more step ladder). Yep I am an Australian. Those Sand flies, ugh. Wish they would just go fly away and take all the other nasty little creepy crawlies. Ah, well that is good then. Gotta trust lego: you'll either step on it or have to pick it up, in both instances, not fun.
  10. Welcome to the Nexus Mods community, glad to have you onboard. I use to use SG Female Textures Renewal and Fine Female Face Textures by Fuse and straight off I would suggest those to you, here is my screenshot "Strike" exampling the two. They work in unison together, and work on either CBBE or UNP. Do you have the mod racemenu? If you have that, you can adjust the character's hair to tone it down, so I would certainly recommend that too for you.
  11. Glad to have helped you. Happy gaming.
  12. Welcome to the Nexus Mods community. The Skyrim Modding community is ripe with explosively fun mods, I have compiled a list on my google website of some of my absolute top picks if you are interested. But there is also the top picks on the Nexus which you can take a gander at, or even the Skyrim Gems website which lists some of the most popular. I am used to using the tools for Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, and while I may not have all the answers, I would probably say that if you were to start doing anything: it would be looking at tutorials for each tool instead of jumping straight in. ZZZ02 is correct about those three steps, and I am sure your experience with the Nexus Mods community will be a positive one.
  13. Which folder are you looking in? If you go into documents, where your Skyrim is located at with your saves there should be a Skyrim ini in there with a Skyrim Prefs ini. If you are looking in the Skyrim folder that is in the Steam folder, then there is only a Skyrim Prefs (in another folder called Skyrim but with nothing else). If it is still not working, contact Bethesda.
  14. Don't mean to cut on in here, but I'd be happy to take some of your tallness away haha, I am a short fry in my family. It is the opposite for me, at work we got tall shelves with everything I need to use (figures, I need to use a step ladder but I get a dizzy spell from it), at home all the tools and equipment packed away on shelves, and even when it comes to insects that fly, they always gotta be inches higher from me when we don't have insect spray. :P In the serious note with your postural problems, I have been getting that lately and some of the things I do is try some stretches to not let the back lock up on me. Seing a chiropractor or doctor would also be excellent, but I usually find some stretches do the trick.
