  1. I can get new spel and mgef formid's to work fine, i use them with my class mod. In regards to vagrant, if i take a current race, and just change the form id, then change all the formid's in the presets to point to that formid, it still does not show body, there must be another place that references formids for races...just dont know where.
  2. Hey, I think it has something to do with formid's not being read correctly. As i can use formid's of other npc's and the body show's fine. Not sure if this is a string problem or if it only allows certain formid combinations, or if there is some cache somewhere. This also happens with spells, some formid's work fine, while others cause problems.
  3. So i have been racking my brain on this little problem. I have figured out everything i need for custom classes, but it will not let me add new races with body included. The head and everything else shows up perfectly fine, just no body at all. It also will not show armor when placed on the body. It does however show weapons and magic. Any body have any ideas?
  4. My idea for clans; feral vampires - all the unnamed vampires currently in the world...i don't feel master vampires would be sitting in a cold cave with a couple thralls. You can still become a vampire from them but they carry severe weaknesses and not many benefits (they have no allegiance) 1st clan (name to come) - babet's master...(let me know if she mentions him being dead) but i want to have her give you a quest to seek him out. (they wish to see the stormcloaks success) (balanced weaknesses and powers) 2nd clan (name to come) - (still havent decided who i want to fulfil the master) but they would support the success of the legion. (balanced weaknesses and powers) The Ancient Circle (group of 3) - very very hard to come by, they have hidden themselves in the world not wanting to be disturbed (they would have tremendous powers and very few weaknesses, are not aligned to anyone) They would be hard to find, and their quest would be even harder, but the rewards much greater. once you became one of the clans you would not be able to change unless you first went cured yourself (which i plan on making a more tedious task for the claned vampires, the feral can stay the same as it is now) I think this would provide a very nice gameplay mechanic for vampire players.
  5. The shade system is there, until ck drops im not sure how much i will be able to use it without scripting. About sleeping in coffins, it is tradition/habit, but there are occasions in both lestast/queen/interview where vampires slept in other places/even under the dirt. I would like to completely change the whole vampire system though....the weak vampires you fight out in the regular game world should not be able to give you the disease as they are weak unmatured vampires. i would prefer to make it quest only like werewolves. And when you finish the quest you are given a cave/house/place where theres a coffin and a cell (for capturing npcs and leaving them there for feedings) and some other amenities. I also think 2 separate vampire clans feuding with one another would fit nicely, and you have to choose among which one you will follow, each with there own negatives and positives. I wont do flying (thats only for very high level vamps) but other skills most def. about fast travel i want to make it where you have a thrall in your newly acquired residence that you can talk to and he will transport you in the heat of the day safe and sound, making sure you arrive at the beginning of night. Keep the thoughts coming though. fyi- VPBV is the start of the mod i was actually seeing if someone wanted to do....i ended up just shaking off the lazy and doing it myself.
  6. I agree with half of what you said, and most importantly NO SPARKLING vampires!! I prefer the vampires that anne rice envisioned in her vampire chronicles. The night/day/ shade is already implemented into the game, and i am already working on adding a burning effect, not just a no regen effect. I also made the mod VPBV, that does what i was asking to be modded- i didnt have it setup so i thought id ask before i spent the time to get it all ready, was just going to wait for the ck, but hey decided what the hell. Id be happy to work with you on some stuff, shoot ideas and stuff. id like to see vamps get the love werewolves got.
  7. I would love to see some vampire balancing (rehaul), I love your mod! and know that doesnt currently fit with the rest of the changes you are implementing, but still :). First and most important is the ridiculous idea that feeding makes you weaker, and not feeding makes you stronger. It would be great if the levels could be reversed in all aspects except the npc dislike, that should stay at when you havent fed. (the more days you stay fed the higher the level, you dont feed for a day and it drops a level) Also vampire night vision needs to have the effects of detect life added to it (like oblivions hunter vision) I have a lot more ideas - but those are what i believe to be the most crucial for making it balanced. Anyways, keep up the great work!
  8. Nope, no more sun damage, now they just dont regen mana/health/stam. Soon as the kit comes out i plan on "revamping" all pun intended, by adding sun damage back, make it so nightvision/bloodvision is mixed in with a sort of like fang mode (toggled), that increases movement speed and stealth (witch will continually show the black smoke effect/aura from the sneak perk) also i think its gay that vampires get weaker when they feed, so i want to redo that and make it more rational by making you force beast mode at level one with lower stats, and as you drink progress up to level five (with all the stats spell - minus the negative npc reactions) as it makes more sense for a vampire to be able to hide there true self when well fed. If any modders want to get in and help i would love it, i have a lot of ideas, and minimal scripting knowledge...enough to make some stuff i want not enough to make it all though
  9. This would be an easy fix with the kit, but was wondering if anyone wants to do it now? Combining the dragon shout that make creatures show in the red aura and adding it to the current vampire night vision should do the trick. This would actually make vampires somewhat useful again, imo.
  10. Does anyone know how to fix/finish the script for the onhit effect that will ignite the enemy on contact. I would imagine that it would be a fairly simple fix since other things ignite target already like fire ball and such.... It doesnt matter how much damage it takes and such as i can alway adjust that, i just need the basic script. Thanks
  11. You can change the appearance through the toolset. Just edit the savegame, i made him a Hell Squarel....looks pretty cool, and runs fast as hell! let me know if you need help doing this.
