  1. I would love to know how you did that as well. I really need to retexture the weapon mods.
  2. At this point I'd just settle for a way to edit the weapons mods textures. Or just so they don't change the textures of the weapons. I'm not too fond of the multi-pastel-colored horror that is my assault rifle. Also removing the mesh for the barrel mods, or make it transparent. Mods are just too good to pass up and it's really bugging me. D:
  3. So, nobody can help me with this? I feel the problem lies with the mapping in 3DS but I'm really not sure. I've watched and read the tutorials here but found nothing. :-( Thanks for your time. Edit: Just found a solution here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/565786-help-with-normal-map-problem/ So, if anyone is having the same problem here is the fix: in NifSkope:TriShapeData: Set Num UV Sets to 4097.TriShape: Right click and do Mesh>Update Tangent Space. On both meshes for the blood.
  4. Hello, Somehow I think this has probably been addressed somewhere in a tutorial but I could not find it. If it has, please feel free to point it out. Thank you. So I have a little problem here with the blood textures. I made the mesh and they wrap up nicely like I want them to, but they're awfully dull. Here, screenshots speak louder than words: As you can see, my blood texture is flat. I do not know why as I'm pretty much new to texturing, but everything in the .nif file is identical to the nice bumpy texture. Can anyone help me and tell me what is wrong with it please? Thanks for your time.
  5. There are some mods that add the pistol already, like : http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37069 http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35937 http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40676 And maybe others. But if you want to do it yourself, I can provide a quick tutorial.
  6. Well, first of all it'd be nice to know where the meshes and textures come from. I don't remember a submarine from any Fallout 3 DLC, so the first step would be to acquire the permission from the possible author of those. Otherwise, the interiors seem to be the ones used for Rivet City, though I could be wrong. If this is the case, you'd have to port these from FO3, which is fairly easy. Then the mod in itself, which shouldn't pose any problem at all to create in the GECK with the resources imported. I know that's not much help, but I'll go dig a little and see what can be done. Edit: My bad, the submarine is indeed from the Point Lookout DLC. So there's only one slight problem: is it ok to upload the meshes/textures etc from the DLC (the submarine) and Fallout 3 (the Rivet City hallways) ?
  7. Hello, So, I don't know if someone noticed, but there's a tiny face that is missing on the iron sights of the vanilla 12.7mm pistol. This is a pretty basic 3D edit that I would have done myself, but infortunately the plugin Gamebryo for 3DS Max 6 is not compatible with New Vegas. I know this is a very small glitch, but I notice them all :( so if someone would be kind enough to do this very little tweak to this model I'd be very grateful. Thanks for your time, and happy trails! P.S.: Here are some screenshots to show what I'm talking about. http://i28.servimg.com/u/f28/12/88/22/20/screen10.jpg http://i28.servimg.com/u/f28/12/88/22/20/screen11.jpg
