Granted, perhaps your discipline, methodology and pacing needs work, but your voice definitely carries the weight necessary to lead a "Let's Play video. So let's do this, man! (Though please make future increments in fifteen minute periods. I'm not going to sit down and watch you play Skyrim for an hour.)

To be fair, Children of Skyrim isn't supported by the Nexus, so I doubt you'll find many clothes designed around that mod on the Nexus, either.

I've noticed that my children keep slipping through the chairs at my Lakeview Manor home. Could be an issue with the 1.9 patch?

Did you take into account the 'Become Ethereral' Shout? or Odahving? He could just summon him to pick him up. Can't shout in mid-air. :biggrin:

It's from your latest SkyUI update. You can deactivate it in the MCM configuration menu.

I know what's causing the issue, but I didn't have the issue myself: a friend of mine did, and I don't remember his Nexus username. :( Give me a couple hours and I'll get it from him. Then I'll find the thread that had the solution. It has something to do with LOD files not decompressing properly in your game - that's why uninstalling and reinstalling won't solve it, as it's a problem with the way Skyrim is working on your computer. Since this thread will likely be forgotten by the time I find it, I'll try to PM it to each of you, Andrimmer and Tigershanked. Once I find it, I'll post it up in the thread for future reference to others. Update: Found the link! Kudos to my friend, the OP, for linking it to me. Please Help!! Triss Armor Retextured Very popular mod back in the day, but it's such a staple that I can't blame you for not knowing the name. But here you go!

Back in Oblivion, I resisted downloading the female body replacers for a long time because I wasn't a fan of objectifying bodies for the sake of sexuality. The whole nudity thing really threw me off, and it wasn't until I learned that you could attach "bikinis" for underwear that I I considered using them. Even then I downloaded the "skinnier" version because of two reasons: 1) Personal taste: I'm impartial to curves. 2) I found the heavier sets to be outside of the vanilla means. Now in Skyrim, you have a similar set up: "skinnier" bodies versus curvier bodies, or UNP versus CBBE. Now, both offer underwear versions, so for a time I considered CBBE for its excellent coverage of skinny and heavy side of things with the weight slider device. However, what turned me off was that, even on the skinniest mode possible (which is no where near anorexic in my opinion, contrary to some people saying otherwise) the characters had these REALLY big butts and hips, to the point that they didn't match the skinny figure of the character. So I picked UNP because I found that a) it was nearest the vanilla shape while offering HD textures and improved shapes, and b) it didn't look absurd or too curvy to me. Now, it's totally fair to defend CBBE, because it does offer variance. But we all know that CBBE is used for excessive proportions of butts and breasts at a majority. That is what it was designed for. So that's why I prefer UNP - because that's not my tastes. But to defend UNP, I have never felt that it was "too" skinny or representative of today's unhealthy standards of skinny people. And it's not as if CBBE is an exception from the objectification of women's bodies - it's just as guilty in the community. However, I think both offer quality mods, and each deserve their reactions in the community.

What are the circumstances? Are the heroes based on their game period or by the period of Skyrim? Because if the latter, The Hero of Kvatch / Champion of Cyrodiil's a freakin' Mad God by then. And Sheogorath, old or new, would just drop them both from a high altitude and laugh about it when their bodies break against the rocks.

It's surprises me how many people blatantly admit that they use cracked versions of Skyrim lately. It's often not even that moderators slip the truth out of them, it's merely that people state, "I use a cracked/pirated version," or try to validate their stolen copy by saying, "I already own it on console, I'm not buying the same game twice." Honestly, what's wrong with this picture? How is it that people who steal think that Nexus would support their behavior?

I'll admit that I can get vigilant at times, but that's from old habits - used to moderate a couple forums back in high school.

If Candy's recommendations help then you won't need my advice, but I've seen this problem before. Sometimes when you tweak your ini files through the Skyrim command console (such as through the "refresh ini" command) a new Skyrim configuration file is spawned inside the Data folder that overrides the commands of your document Skyrim config file or even your default Skyrim.ini file. Even weirder is the fact that the file isn't simply named Skyrim as you'd expect, but rather some other absurd and randomized name. In my own case, it named itself "Water." What you should do is look for a file in your Data folder that is designated as as configuration file. Open it, and if it's a fairly extensive folder that looks similar in nature to your Skyrim.ini file, then that's likely your problem. Delete or move it out of the file and see if that resolves your issue. And make sure you back up your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini folder whenever you tweak them. It's just smart modding.
