  1. Considering NPC don't ever leave their ships, you might need to add another crime to the list... So lots of wanted stars and reset your relation with that specie to zero! Even if that means little to nothing. If locking the trade with that specie was possible, would play nice in here. This mechanic was "supposedly" in the game at same point... Bypass chips played a role on it. Adding a fourth option to the conversation, spending a bypass and then price zero. Arrr! New ship. And lots of enemies waiting. Would be cool indeed. Maybe too easy... Why would you pay for a ship ever again? Playing devil's advocate (balance is the least of my worries, I use a trainer for the same effect)
  2. Not a techie, but sounds about what I have... No quantic processor here, either. Every time you make a change to the PCBANKS folder it usually has to rebuild graphics cache, or check it, and then rebuild it... not sure. Thing is, by manually deleting everything inside your SHADERCACHE folder, when you make a change to your load order, the game loads faster and without "staggering" all the time during the load-flight. If you don't connect it often, there were a couple of those ninja updates that you could be running behind... And last, the game is not pinacle of optimization either, if you are using an Nvidia card, there are a couple of tweaks to the configuration that made a world of difference for me. Google that up... Same might go for ATI.
  3. Precisely, it is not... It never took anywhere near two minutes for me to initialize! Depends on your machine. Let me guess... Your warps to new systems or through black holes, also take you a long time? The initial flight and the warp-tunnel are the "hidden" loading screens of this game. They are more fancy than your usual spinning circle... but if you think about it, it is the same: A looping animation you look at, while the game pre-loads the necessary assets. If they had hidden it with a little mini-game, like those that exist for Fallout4 (through mods) they would have nailed it.
  4. Ctrl+6 on the trainer gets the job done...
  5. That's you loading-screen, man... without it, there is no sky.
