  1. There's something dumb about carrying around some 20+ potions of every kind around, I find. In part because most, if not all of these were found lying around somewhere. There's not much of a point in being an alchemist or preparing for a journey by stocking up on potions if you'll find them in some random location for free. A quick search through the nexus gave me nothing, so I wonder whether anyone has even thought of something like this before? Remove all potions from dungeons and chests, or make them quite a bit more rare. The only way to obtain potions would be by crafting or buying them. Maybe even increase their value so that there's a bit of a money-sink. Could even be expanded to affect lock-picks. Just throwing it out there.
  2. There's this dude for starters, but I assume you're looking for a phoenix-themed monster pack. Might want to ask the monster mod guys whether that'd be a cool idea, there's already a number of crazy new stuff added by them.
  3. An alternative to ATT is a single line in the skyrim.ini. You can add bDisableGearedUp=0 to the bottom of the [General] section and it will show all the equipment you have favorited on you. Might be a bit buggy at times, but nothing game-breaking. Full explanation here
  4. Ît's a bad idea to go from playing Magicka to playing Skyrim. At times I would find myself casting frostbite or sparks at enemies partially submerged in water, like in swindler's den where you may or may not be fighting alik'r warriors, and be moderately surprised at there being no effect. Similarily, with Frostfall installed - that one mod that makes you not want to go into water ever - I've often found myself wishing to be able to magic myself an ice bridge. Not sure if Skyrim can even handle it, but if it could somehow without horribly breaking everything I'd get that mod.
  5. There are some food/thirst/rest mods out there, most recent is realistic needs and diseases. Most cover several stages of hunger/thirst/tiredness, which make for interesting situations when you're in, say, the soul cairn with half your soul missing, in a hostile world and just realized you didn't pack any lunch. What I would like to see in one of these mods is something like... I'm looking for a proper word. Food decay? I notice how I sometimes end up stockpiling a whole bunch of food and find some more on the journey until at some point getting hungry isn't an issue anymore because I have 15 sweetrolls in my pack. Dragon's Dogma had food go bad after a while. I'd like to see that. It would make stocking up stacks of food a bad idea since most of it will go bad before you get to eat it, and hunting for fresh food would be more viable. Also the whole deal with refilling water bottles/skins at just any pool of water, completely disregarding saltwater or just plain disease-infested water.
  6. I know of both the hedge knight and spellbinder armors. Neither are what I am looking for, mostly due to the use of witcher 2 models, which, though they look very good in their own game, do not quite fit into Skyrim I find. I think it's the textures, mostly. In addition the fine clothes coat model looks a bit goofy to me, like it does something to the shoulders that just doesn't look right. Too broad, too round? Thank you for pointing it out, but it's not what I'm looking for.
  7. I'm not entirely sure how many requests on this board are actually made into mods, but I'd like to give it a go anyway. I'd like to see someone mix ulfric's clothes and the steel armor (not steel plate). I'm a fan of coats over armor, but this style appears to be very rare in any game. So far I've only seen it done in a mod for Morrowind as the adamantium netch leather armor, which was done very well. So when I saw Gaz0line's pic of one, I was happy and waited for him to release it. However, he never delivered for Skyrim or Oblivion. So I figured, since Ulfric already wears something similar, one could work with that? The reason I'm not too happy with ulfric's armor is that it just doesn't feel right when the player wears an npc's unique armor, and the coat actually being made of chain disturbs me to no end. Plus, I really like the look of steel armor. So I'm thinking steel armor, from chest to pants, and only the coat over it, much like how the robed steel plate works. Perhaps some shortening of the sleeves might be necessary, since I've noticed the nordic steel gauntlets clip a little with the coat. Additionally, changing the coat's textures to cloth or leather would be welcome, preferably brown in color. Stat-wise I'm thinking light and heavy variants. As light armor, stats similar or identical to scale sound fitting, while giving it the stats of steel for a heavy variant seems reasonable. I'd be very grateful to anyone who could do this. As of now I simply lack the means or the knowledge to do it myself.
