  1. The short of it is this: When I export a .blend head with the DOS2/BG3 Collada, the head appears in game with weird black textures on their face: The kicker is that this happens to ANY head I export. I have tested it where other people export the same .blend file on their own computers and it turns out great (I copied the exact same settings and also add-ons and same blender version 3.6) but when I export it, it looks like this. ALSO, if I simply import a .blend file of a head and immediately re-export it without making ANY changes, the face looks like the image above, yet again. I am not well versed in Blender at all, but I was told it might be the "UV normals"? I tried a bunch of settings, flipping them not flipping them, etc but always it looks f*#@ed. Anyone got any ideas?

  3. The heads for the men are located in: game/characters/human/hmm/0_heads I know that Gil is using the Mike texture. I'm pretty sure Reyes uses Vik. So just replace or edit those files. Don't forget the normal maps and such as well. So I'm saving the Steve textures (mask and sss) and then importing them as Vik's mask and sss but seeing no change in game to Reyes. I also attempted exporting all 4 files (diff, mask, n, sss) from a different head and importing them to Vik and then saving the project and launching the game and still seeing no change to Reyes... :(
  4. Any tips how to find Reyes and Gil's faces in the tool? Basically I'm thinking I could just use a preset texture (such as preset 6 which has a nice skin) and use that as Reyes' face texture. Can that be done?

  6. I'd like to try my hand at modding some faces (mainly the male love interests). Can anyone link me to some guides for modding faces or textures? I see some mods with alternate faces have already appeared on the nexus so the tech is there for it...
  7. Hi there! I asked a lovely person on Nexus Mods to help me make Triss wear Ciri's original outfit (while Ciri wears her DLC outfit) and she did that for me, but in-game Triss' necklace doesn't fit Ciri's body so it now clips with her shoulder. And so I want to remove it completely but have no idea how to. I have managed to master modkitchen and I don't mind creating a second mod to make the necklace invisible instead of adding this to the mod that switches the outfits but I don't know how to remove that necklace! Can anyone help? If it's more trouble to type out the solution, I'm ok with just getting a fixed file, but otherwise I'd love to understand how to do it. I modified the necklace's xml files to make it audohide at 0.00 but that did nothing. I also tried making all the necklace textures invisible and that also did nothing...
  8. I can confirm it's the Apachii esm. I've tried it both with all my other hair mods active and apachii inactive or vice versa with only apachii active. Whenever Apachii is loaded, the character creation menu crashes BUT only when switching to female in my case. Male works fine. I think there's also something specifically about human hairs? Because I don't get crashes as Argonian or Khajiit, for example.
  9. It's lovely that we can get our followers to relax via a variety of mods, but it's always a bunch of dialogue options away. Couldn't someone make it a power so that we can simply hotkey? It would be so much nicer to enter an interior and click the key so the followers silently and automatically go and relax, and when I'm done in that interior, I can hit it again and they all follow again...
  10. Thanks for the replies guys. Actually I tested it with new .ini files. It still does that. :( I did have the u grid load set to 7 in the savegame so I'll try to lower it to 5 and see what happens. The weird line in the air was fixed by a reinstall of game and mods, but the vanishing tiles of land weren't. They pop in or out based on distance and angle. But they only happen from the entrance to the college. If I go by the windows the water and land render fine. Maybe that one spot at the bridge door where the magelight is has some glitch... I have the latest Nvidia drivers btw. :)
  11. I've uninstalled all mods, did a clean re-install of Skyrim and rerolled Nvidia drivers from right after the game came out. Still no luck. I've seen only two other posts about this particular bug and no solutions were given. Is it that rare? If the angle is changed (and I move next to the bridge door) the land pops back in. The magelight line only shows from that side, it vanishes from the opposite side. Sadly, my OCD isn't happy about this. So far I've spent more time fixing and improving the game than actually playing it LOL
  12. Hey y'all So here I was super happy with all my mods and my ENB and everything only to find that I have weird graphical bugs such as the ones below. A chunk of water is missing (it fills out if I go there and get close) And the sparks of the magelight create some weird lines in the air. Screenshots are attached. I also looked without any mods and the glitches are still there. Nvidia drivers are all up to date...
