  1. Ok I am almost at the point of giving up modding in Skyrim and just uninstalling the whole game since I can't seem to make meshes the way I want to. Basically all I want to do is create my own static meshes complete with static clutter. But 9 times out of 10 when I add a new piece to the CK it crashes. It does not crash upon loadup, but when I try to click on a cell that contains the new mesh. Lilith's Curio Cabinets are a great example of what I am trying to do...shelves, cupboards, and other furniture pieces with clutter already on them so it's one decorated mesh instead of 20 individual pieces. One of the things I have tried to do is make sure the bhkcollisionobject block on all pieces match the original mesh. Other than that I am at a complete loss since it seems Skyrim's CK is so much more complicated and touchy than Oblivion's. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thankyou. RM
  2. I looked at the pathing grid. Turns out you were right. I never adjusted the pathing when I lowered the ground so that's why everything was falling from the sky. Thankyou very much, now my animals are staying exactly where I want them.
  3. I am trying very hard to create a fully customized farm and I am having a very annoying problem with all my farm animals. Some of the stupid things keep falling out of the sky and dying and others keep wandering around outside their pens. I have done everything I can think of to fix the wandering issues such as: I have added x markers to try and hem the animals into certain pens and I have checked to make sure the collision on the fence is intact and working.Limited the wandering distance to 128 for sheep inside a fenced area.Gave horses inside barn stalls the stayput only AI Package.Limited my chickens to only 96 feet inside the chicken coop.None of these things have worked. Everything keeps wandering outside it's area. And the rest are literally falling from the sky and dying. If anyone has any idea how to solve this problem please let me know. Thankyou in advance for your support. RM
  4. Usually when I have problems with shades on 2 meshes not matching it has to do with the NiMaterialProperty not matching. Open up the meshes in Nifskope (both hands and body) and check the NiMaterialProperty link. Make sure the Ambient, Diffuse, Specular, and Emisive colors match both meshes. I had this problem with my neck seams mismatching like your picture and this fixed my problem. RM
  5. Hey it worked thankyou!!! Now I can finally get this interior finished and then move on to the next phase (landscaping ugh).
  6. As you can see from the pics I have uploaded, I am having trouble getting certain meshes to display their textures correctly. Now I know it is not the textures themselves since the same texture placed on a different mesh looks normal. Example 1: In pic 2 most of the counter top looks normal, however the small mesh strip in front of the sink has a much darker look to it. That strip was created from one of the other counter tops I just shortened it to fit, I also remembered to update the meshes center/radius so I know that is not the problem. I have even tried changing all the colors in the texture property to white and it still does not fix the problem. Example 2: In pic 1 the tile trim on the wall is too dark, and yet the custom tile I created on the lower half of the wall shows up normal. Walls, paintings, cabinets etc. all show up normal even though the are placed vertically, so I know there has to be a way to fix this. For the record I use only Nifskope for all my meshes, I don't know how to use Blender. So everything you see has been made using only Nifskope. If anyone can help me with this problem I would really appreciate it. I would like to move onto phase 2 of my project, but these meshes are really holding me up. Thankyou Riley Marks
  7. Yeah I just noticed that too, but yes something like that would have worked, add a more woodsy area around the perimeter and I would be set. :)
  8. Yes, I have scoured the modder's resources already listed and I have downloaded several to see if they would fit my project's needs. Unfortunately I keep running into the same problem, none of them have an open space in the middle of the island big enough for a large farm settlement. Most of them are too thin or they have too large of a mountain range running through the area I want to make my settlement. I need more of a large island with a decent size valley in the middle.
  9. Hello, I am looking for an individual that enjoys landscaping. I have a personal project that I am working on and I need a new worldspace. Essentially I am needing a small island with about a 3x3 cell grid in the middle and at least a 3 cell perimeter surrounding it with landscaping. The perimeter can be decorated any which way preferably with at least 1 waterfall. But the center needs to remain blank so I have room for my large farm project. I am looking for something along the lines of lush green vegetation, jungle type, no buildings or ruins. If anyone is interested in helping me with this project please let me know. Thankyou.
  10. Hello, Not sure if you read these but I was wondering if I could talk to you about a couple resources from your Artifacts mod for a couple projects I am currently working on?
  11. Hello, I was wondering if I could talk to you about a few resources from your Millstone Farm. I tried to message you, but the site says you cannot receive any new messages.
  12. I was wondering if anyone has been able to successfully create a summon script that could be used to summon an NPC scamp? I want to make a personal merchant/fence that can be summoned with a particular object, but instead of a normal npc I want it to be a scamp (reminiscent of the merchant scamp in Morrowind). I'm trying to get the hang of scripting and creating npc's but so far my efforts haven't worked very good. Any help would be appreciated thankyou. Riley Marks
  13. Ok I normally don't post things in threads, but I am in desperate need of help finding a mod that provides a useable ancastleroofbig02 mesh. I am trying to create a pavilion and I keep running into that stupid "text array shader is too big" error message in Nifskope. Has anyone seen this mesh modified in another mod? Usually if something has already been modified then I can modify it myself. If not, does anyone know how to get around that error message so that I can combine the roof with other meshes?
  14. If you have installed your Oblivion game and directories in a folder other than the default Bethesda, can your mods still be uploaded and shared with the rest of the community? I always install my programs under the program name rather than the company name since I can never remember what company made what. So my Oblivion game and directories are located under C:\ #My Programs#\Oblivion. I have created several resource mods for my own personal use and I thought I would share them. But then I got to thinking since I changed the default directories that others might not be able to use them unless I reinstall Oblivion into its default directory and reroute everything which would be a massive undertaking. Any help on this would be appreciated.
  15. I am looking for the complete kitchen and bath mod and public school mod by AndySaurus. I know there is a link on the Oblivion Realestate website but it is broken. If anyone knows where I can download the originals or ha a copy they can reupload I would appreciate it . Thanks!
